About the MTX Terminator69

Terminate wimpy sound

Put factory sound in your rear-view and step up to speakers that satisfy your hunger for more volume. These Terminator69 6"x9" full-range speakers will handle a healthy dose of power from an aftermarket stereo or amp, while delivering clarity that far surpasses your stock speakers. Features

Point Source Alignment: The recessed tweeter is concentrically aligned with the woofer cone, so sound radiates from the same point for both. This minimizes phase error and allows the sound field to be constant in all directions, improving time alignment.

Grille: The grille has a snap on trim ring that covers the mounting screws.

Q
Whats the best amp to run for these kind of speakers and some 3 way kicker 6/9?
erik  Oct 16, 2023
1 answer
A
These MTX Terminator69 speakers can handle a maximum RMS wattage of 60-watts, Erik. The new MTX MUD100.4 would be a great match, putting out 50-watts RMS by 4-channels, and it has a marine rating for extended life, check it out! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_236MUD1004/MTX-MUD100-4.html

Q
I just put in 6x9 in my front doors and they are not all the way sealed. Will that make the sound quality worse?
dusty  Apr 10, 2019
1 answer
A
I put these speakers in my rear doors, and was only able to mount them with 2 screws, so they weren't completely sealed, but they sound awesome, I'm actually going to put a set in the front doors which they will mount exactly the same, this is just my 2 cents, hopefully it helps
