5 questions already asked
Yeah they should handle that weight and dimensions just fine [ ANDREW Aug 09, 2017 ]
My Spicas weigh 20 pounds and don't flex the stand at all. The 10 in sq speakers should fit nicely on the large top plate. My stands are on carpet with spikes and have not moved in nearly a year. I filled my stands with 25 pounds of lead shot to deaden them as they are quite resonant. I added acoustic couplers to anchor the speaker to the stand. Another option would be spikes to ensure the speaker is well coupled to the stand. I'm 110% satisfied [ Ian Eales Jul 28, 2017 ]
I used the larger (8.125" x 9.125") top plate with the SM55 speakers. I used 1" x3" permanent 'velcro' tape to secure the bottom of the speaker to the top of the stand (mainly for a little bit of child proofing). I love the stands, they serve their purpose well. [ Aaron Mar 29, 2017 ]
About the plate- For the top I use plate that a little one, big rectangular plate I used for the stand. And remember the poll going too be under angel leaning toward the wall I have sm65 and no I didn't attach them to the stand. I just can't imagine who in right mind gonna put screws into the speakers. i have no i idea why they include 8 screws and drill four halls in each small top plate! Personally I didn't used them Just have to say stand is sturdy and well balanced Hope it's helps [ Yevgeniy Mar 28, 2017 ]

These were designed specifically for a few of the Definitive Technology speakers, so we don't have an exact weight rating on them. I did some checking though, and the heaviest of the speakers they were designed for comes in at 22 pounds each. [ Jeff Sep 10, 2015 ] Staff
