Versatile speaker for installations
Peavey designed their Sanctuary Series SSE™ 15 loudspeakers for permanent, professional installations where the speakers must be flown. They're particularly well-suited for stages, churches, auditoriums, theme parks, and other applications where you need to cover the greatest possible area, either individually or in an array.
500 watts of power
This rugged enclosure handles up to 500 watts RMS, so it'll produce clear, powerful sound whether you're using it for public address or for music. Peavey's powerful Scorpion Pro 1500+ 15" woofer handles the lower frequencies with ease, so you can count on a full sound. Their highly regarded 14XT 1.4" titanium compression driver broadcasts the high frequencies effectively throughout the listening area, while the Sound Guard™ IV network protects the driver against damage from high-level playback. The SSE™ 15 offers exceptional coverage — 90 degrees horizontal and 40 degrees vertical — so you know your entire audience will hear every detail.
Sturdy enclosure
The enclosure is constructed of sturdy birch plywood with an acrylic polyurethane finish that'll keep it looking sharp. Flying points on the top and bottom of the cabinet allow you to attach mounting brackets. The enclosure features a Speakon® connector and a terminal block for connecting to your amplifier. This little giant will give you the ability to be heard in a variety of applications. The SSE 15 produces clear, powerful sound, whether you're using it for public address or for music

Overview: The Peavey Sanctuary Series of passive loudspeakers is designed for permanent installations in smaller auditoriums, houses of worship, or other indoor venues where space is at a premium. The trapezoidal-shaped enclosure is constructed of dado-joined 13mm birch plywood panels with an off-white, textured acrylic polyurethane finish. This sleek-looking 2-way speaker can be surface mounted, bracket mounted, or suspended using the mounting points on the top and bottom of the enclosure.
SSE 15 Drivers: This Sanctuary SSE 15 has a Peavey Scorpion Pro 1500+ 15" woofer with a 2.5" (64mm) voice coil, and a Peavey 14XT titanium compression driver, with a Sound Guard IV tweeter protection network. The drivers are electro-acoustically crossed over at 2.8 kHz, and have a nominal impedance of 8Ω.
Connections: The SSE 15 has a recessed input cup with a 4-pin Neutrik NL-4 Speakon connector. In addition, there is a 2-position screw terminal strip, wired in parallel to the Speakon connectors, for bare wire termination.
Mounting Options: The Peavey Sanctuary Series speaker can be mounted in a variety of ways. The speaker has six M10 threaded mounting suspension points (3 top, 1 each side, 1 rear), and one M6 point on the rear bottom for angle adjustment. Three M10 eyebolts are provided for suspending the speaker at up to a 45° angle. There are also four M6 threaded mounting points on the bottom, designed for use with the Peavey Versamount 70 bracket.
