Platinum, Gold, or Silver level certification is obtained by meeting the criteria from our LLLB checklist for each level - the checklist must be completed and certified by your Primary Care Provider. Get physically fit and get rewarded! Employees are eligible for up to $250 reimbursement per calendar year for registration fees for organized fitness events that involve walking, running, swimming, and biking (not motorized). Reimbursement can also be used for league fees and race training programs.
What’s not eligible for reimbursement? We do not reimburse for gym memberships or pledges for support or fundraising. We do offer some gym membership corporate rates and payroll deductions. Charitable donations may be applied for through our Donations Coordinator.

If you’re currently paying higher premiums due to a risk factor (or 2 or 3), you can submit an updated Risk Factor Affidavit at any time to save money on your premiums, if any of the following items apply:
Important: This form is mandatory and must be completed by all insured employees annually. Employees are expected to submit updated certification forms when/if they have risk factors added as well.
Counseling and community referrals to assist you in identifying and improving personal concerns that may be affecting you. These may include personal/emotional concerns, legal and financial referrals, family issues, caregiving consultation, and job related issues. The brochure provides more detailed information.

Throughout the year we offer seasonal healthy challenges to give you the resources to stay motivated. The challenges focus on fresh starts, resolutions, and goal setting. Completing these challenges make you eligible for a grand prize! Challenge topics include:

Charlottesville employees are eligible for a local food hub subsidy allowing you to have local fresh fruits and vegetables at home. The program runs annually, typically offering 12 shares from May to October. Pick up days are Wednesday afternoons.
What’s in the share? Shares contain 6-8 types of fruits and vegetables in quantities that last about 10 days.
Emails will be sent out each spring with details on costs and contact information for the season.
In many of our locations, we offer fresh fruit available to employees free of charge. In addition, we make an effort to offer healthy vending options in our facilities. Feel free to contact Amped & Alive if you have suggestions on getting more healthy food options at work!
We offer free flu shots on-site at HQ and SWVA every year. These are available to all interested employees and dependents over the age of 18.
If you’re not able to make it for our on-site flu shot clinics and you are covered under Crutchfield’s health insurance, you can also get the shot for free at certain pharmacies (including CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreens) as well as your doctor’s office (you will not be charged for the office visit if you’re only getting the flu shot; you will be charged for the visit if you receive any other services).
Employees at HQ and the SWVA and Charlottesville Contact Centers are able to bring their dogs to work with them. We have discovered that allowing dogs to come to work with their people has led to increased employee satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Due to safety guidelines, pets are not allowed at our retail or warehouse facilities – though employees at those locations are always welcome to visit one of our pet-friendly facilities and say hi to some furry friends.
