Came to Dwayne pre-purchase with some technical questions on Remote Start for an older car that seems to be one of the not-so-simple jobs. Had a 25-year-old rig that I'd driven around for 9 years with junk speakers and a factory tap deck. Finally decided to do something about it using left over pieces from my stereo projects in my kids' cars. Dwayne helped me realize the potential of completely abandoning the factory speakers and wiring. Really only tapped into the power supplies and reverse circuit. The rest was off the Dwayne Dome! Sounds great now and I did it on the cheap!

Recently, our "Fisher" stereo amplifier (CA-856) decided that after 37 years of great service, it no longer wanted to work on the left channel. Having been very satisfied doing business with Crutchfield, I called to see what amplifier replacement might be available. I spoke with advisor Dwayne who listened to my tale of woe. I told him that I had looked at a couple of systems on the website, but was not sure of all the technical details of those that had caught my interest. Dwayne was more than helpful without trying to steer me to a system far beyond our needs. In fact, after answering my questions and considering our needs he suggested the Onkyo TX-8220 might be closest to what we were looking for. Wow! It isn't often that you meet someone as intelligent as Dwayne. Certainly, he helped me with a new woofer and answered any questions that I had. What I probably should not say, but I will, but after the completion of the transaction, we talked a little about things, current events, coins and ... he is so smart about Life!
