“I called Crutchfield to get a recommendation for upgrading the sound in my 2010 Subaru Forester that I just purchased. It was still running on the lackluster OEM factory radio. I already had the new head unit, a 9" Android radio that I purchased for the car but wanted some quality speakers and power for said speakers. I was put in contact with TJ and he recommended some JBL 6-½" Club 64SQ speakers and the 64CSQ with the tweeters. And a JL Audio 400W-100x4 amp for power. This is a night and day difference. Great hitting bass, nice highs and midrange. I'm basically a metal head and TJ understood the assignment and set me up good. I highly recommend all the techs at Crutchfield as they are real audiophile and enjoy sharing that knowledge with their customers.”

I was in a pickle wondering if I had to change my workstation audio gear, but TJ being the pro he is, recommended me to stick with the Kanto Yu6 & Sub 8 I had rather than buy a new TUK. The silk and Kevlar on the Yu6 would fare better than the aluminum on the TUK (considering I have tinnitus and hate bright sounds). Being a gamer, TJ also recommended me to get a Samsung Q99F over bookshelf speakers for an immersive living room TV movie and gaming experience.
