2014 Nissan Rogue Select

Not even close to fitting this vehicle even though for some reason Crutchfield says it can. You can't put the factory dash trim back in place because the trim plate from this kit is in the way. If you remove the trim plate, the right and left brackets are STILL IN THE WAY and they don't hold the pocket securely at all. I was trying to use this for a single din stereo. I still installed it, but I just used the factory brackets and a spare pocket I had from an old CR-V. It's not perfect because the pocket is from a different vehicle, but what else could I have done. There IS no actual kit that will fit this car without dremeling the factory dash kit and that would just be ridiculous.

Not a good match

The installation instructions were not clear and didn't match the figures. The frame bracket hole pattern does not match the car stereos hole pattern. It didn't come with any screws to attach the bracket to the stereo. But I couldn't use the holes anyway. The final fit was okay.

Dash kit was the wrong one for my vehicle called was told that was the only option and should try going to another company to buy the correct one, had to totally rig the radio to reassemble the dash

Some trimming required

Was difficult to get the side tabs to snap in place. It required some trimming with a razor blade and one side barely fit at that. Worked in the end, but was not as fitted as I would have expected.

Although a well intended product, this product required modification for assembly, and ultimately was not necessary for my installation.

2018 Nissan NV3500 Install

The screw holes on the bracket do not match up with anything on the alpine head unit, they need to extend out much longer to match up with other mounting holes. The only fix that i could come up with was using zip ties (see pics). Not exactly a professional install. I even called the American International (after calling Crutchfield a couple times) and they had no answers. Be prepared to have to do a similar fix and just be happy with how it looks and not worry about what is behind the curtain

AWFUL

The double din plate is so cheap and warped it won't fit my stereo properly. Absolutely terrible quality and would never recommend.

American International NDK780 Dash Kit

Worse kit I have ever installed. Instructions were for something else. Said ok stuff happens, went on manufacturers website figured I would download them. They had nothing on there. Come with two screw holes on each side, only one lined up. Finally just rigged it so I could get my dash back together. First kit I have used from this company and will be the last.
