Positive side fits fine. Negative side is way too tight. Used a screwdriver to pry open but once that's done it will not stay snug on the terminal for your speaker.even after tightening back with pliers. Don't recommend.

Extreme Caution for "weaker speaker posts"

Be careful using these. I suggest to avoid using them and purchase Metra's version. Better to be safe then break the post off your new speakers. Specifically, the smaller terminal is so tight it is literally closed. They have almost no give, you have to push on them hard enough to snap the speaker's terminals off. If you tool them open just a bit at all, they slide off and then need clamped on with pliers once on the post. I've never seen Crutchfield send something so poor, in this case "free" ruined my new speaker set. Just really know that you trust your speaker manufacturer's terminal posts. Hertz's are not strong enough for the force required to get these on, in addition to being almost impossible to repair, as I am finding out. I bought Metra's version of these for the rear set, you should too. I still haven't gotten my front set installed, the right speaker is too damaged by this product to use.

Nice adapter to stock wiring. Terminal on negative wire was closed so tight it would not go on the speaker terminal. I had to pry them open to get the to fit on the speaker terminal and even then they were really tight. This was the case for all four I received. Use caution not to force on and bend speaker terminal or harness. Positive side fit just fine.

Great plug & play, but.... Always check your factory wiring for polarity. On my 2015 Sierra w/Bose, driver front and rear are reversed, so you will need to re-pin them to match. Passenger front and rear are fine.

Installed easily to the factory wire harness. The speaker connection left a lot to be desired. The smaller connector did not easily slide onto the speaker connector. In fact, you push so hard you could potentially break the speaker tab. Mine are only halfway on but seem to be okay. If speakers stop working I'll know that the lead worked its way loose.

only speed bump was having to be careful with the negative terminal as it was really tight on all the speakers. But hey that just means it won't come loose.

Direct plug-in to factory wiring harness. Unfortunately there is no direction provided as to which wire connects to which speaker terminal (+ or -). Also, to connect my new Rockford Fosgate speakers, the small terminal end had to be cut off and replaced with the quick slide terminals that were included in the purchase from Crutchfield.

These wire harness's came free with the speakers I ordered for the doors for my wife's 2012 Malibu (not a Bose system), well the negative (small) slide on connectors did not fit the speakers I ordered which were the Polk Audio DB 652. I even tried working a screwdriver into the connector to widen it enough to slide on the speaker terminal and it still wouldnt work, so I cut them off and soldered them on. Then I went to plug the harness into the wire that the factory speakers were plugged into and its a completely different harness so I ended up having to cut both harness's off the doors and the harness's off the SH3802. Had I not already soldered them to the speakers, I would have canned them and just use the ones that came with the Polk speakers. So if you ended up with these for a 2012 Malibu, make sure the harness fits the one in your door before you do anything else. Im uploading pics of the harness from the SH3802 and my Malibu, the Malibu ones are white and the SH3802 are black and you can clearly see they wont work together. The speakers that i removed from the car were factory speakers. Also the speaker wires for each door were bundled in with the power window and lock wires inside the factory wrapping so they are the original harness's that came with the car.

Adapter side was fine. small problem getting the wire on to the negative with both speakers. Probably just crimp wires if there a next time

these things fit the camaro wiring harness at least for the GEN5. FRONT AND BACK, the site says it didn't, but it fit. Easiest part of the install. I didn't want to splice wires, and with these I didn't have to.

The female blade connectors on this adapter will not fit the Rockford Fosgate T1693 speaker blades that Crutchfield suggests. The factory connectors are handy so you can get some larger blade connectors and install them but the whole point of these is to avoid having to do any of that.

Caution the smaller of the two different spade connectors is too small to fit Rockford Fosgate T1650 speakers. Had to go out of my way to auto parts and buy the right size and replace that which come on this harness. Might be better to ship with additional spare sized spade connectors.
