About the Crutchfield Banana Connectors

We like banana connectors — especially for the space-challenged rear panels of A/V receivers. These connectors use a set-screw design that provides reliably easy and secure speaker wire termination. If your receiver, amplifier, or speakers have banana-compatible binding posts, these connectors are a low-cost way to plug in.

Set-screws secure your speaker wire to the banana plug connector (strip your speaker wire 0.5"). Each Crutchfield banana plug connector features a gold-plated single-banana jack which easily plugs into the binding post terminals of your loudspeakers, receiver, or amplifier. The barrel of each connector has a red or black "Crutchfield" logo to identify positive and negative.

The high/low opposing set screws make for a solid connection. I used these and Crutchfield 16 ga. flat speaker wire for my Atmos elevation speakers. I saved money making my cables and made them the perfect length.
