This is the perfect kit if you are buying a 4-channel amp and are considering an additional amp for your subwoofer in the future (so 2 total amplifiers). My only complaint is that this kit doesn't come with ring terminals for the smaller, 8AWG red and black cables - you have to purchase that separately.

Solid Dual Amp Install Kit

Solid build kit with flexible wires and options for how to install. The main 4 gauge battery cable is VERY long while the smaller gauge cables are much shorter. In my case, I had way too much 4G cable and way too little of the smaller gauge wire to run to two amps in opposite directions of the minivan. Fuses and holders are heavy duty, but there are no places to mount the actual holders to the vehicle. Ended up wire tying the cables running into both ends of fuses to the vehicle, but would have preferred a way to wire tie the holder itself. No biggie, works great.
Pros: Everything included for two modest sized amps
Cons: Fuse rating of Dual Amp holder is 60/40. May be an issue with larger amps.

Great kit

Kit includes everything you need to power two amps. I used it to wire two class D amps. 400 watt 4 channel and 500 watt mono block The ground wire isn't exceptionally long but it worked out well for my purposed. fuse blocks work well and have a nice finish. My only gripe would be that the ground distribution doesn't dimensionally match the fuse distribution and aesthetically that bothers me slightly.
Pros: Includes what's needed to the powering of two amps
Cons: main ground could be longer by 2 feet or so.

Lots of bang for your buck! OFC cable, great terminals, hefty feel and look, and all the stuff you need for dual amps to include zip ties, cable sheath and a firewall grommet. Kits out there with lesser quality materials at three times the price. Don't hesitate to grab this kit, worth every penny.

Wires and blocks both have a quality feel, lengths are acceptable. If I had to complain, it would be about the grommet provided, its pretty skimpy. Also note you can remove the Crutchfield branding from the blocks without much trouble.

Believe this is a good choice to install dual amps, or better yet prepare for a dual amp setup as you are tearing apart your vehicle to prep for upgrades. Its prudent and smart to think ahead for future upgrades, so you have the groundwork in place and only have to add the actual components. Great value for the money

Wire quality is excellent. Very flexible and and easy to work with. Nice kit with everything needed to get started. Only complaint is the fuse holder is a little difficult to remove the fuses. The screws have to be removed all the way and can be easily lost. Not a big deal just something that could be improved.

I have mixed feelings about this kit. Overall, I like the quality of the components, but there's finishing touches that are omitted that are simply frustrating. Pros: I like the flexibility of the cables appear to be high quality materials Distribution blocks are nice Wire loom for engine bay appears to be good quality Cons: - 6 zip ties!? Really? What am I supposed to do w/6 zip ties? either give a useful amount or just leave it off the kit - only 6 feet of 8 ga power & ground wire... wasn't enough for my amp rack and mounting had to order more online should be 8-10 feet instead No terminal lugs provided for the other end of the ground cables... once again, had to source them elsewhere... All in all, the materials are nice however it would be nice if the finishing pieces were included to actually be able to use this kit without having to source additional parts.

Ok...As a huge Crutchfield supporter and fan, I'm a bit disappointed in this kit. the included say: Copied from the website. - Fuse holder - Two 50A Mini-ANL fuses (red-installed in fuse holder) - Distribution block - 40A Mini-ANL fuse (amber-installed in distribution block) - 60A Mini-ANL fuse (blue-installed in distribution block) Included is the two fuse blocks...but it's not what expected. I ordered online to fulfill my needs. This is not three fuse boxes!!!, it's only two. The 40A and the 60A are combined into one fuse box with a 4G input with a 8G output. The distribution box is not a 4 G input with a 4G output and a 8G (as I initially though). But in reality you need two both for your Positive and Negative. Not sure what else to say, but this is not a 4G in to a 4G out distribution. Its a 4G in to two 8G out. Will not work with most mono block. Will not work with my Alpine Mono block and Alpine 4 Channel. I will make it work with the parts from another source coming Next day. Crutchfield, if I have misinterpreted something, please give me a call...or delete my comment and still give me a call. Thanks...Just spend a lot of money with you, so that's a chunk of change.

I like this kit. It includes good quality OFC cables and contains everything you need, but . . . The fuse holder and distribution blocks have a small design flaw. The design of ANL fuses should allow you to remove/add the fuse to the block without completely removing the screws. With the fuse and distribution blocks there is not enough clearance at the edge to allow the fuse to swing out. So, you have to pull the screws completely. Not a deal breaker, and they will get the job done, just not optimal. I am also not a fan of the way the cover fits as it tends to get pushed out of alignment when mounting the cover.

I know what you're thinking "Ugh, I have enough money for the stuff I want but not the wiring kit" and thats when you turn to other websites to try to save some money. Don't. Do. That. The wiring is the backbone of the system and the very first place noise is introduced into the signal chain. This kit uses pure copper - not copper coated aluminum, for the very best conductivity. It has everything you need for a dual amp set up under 1000 watts or so. You can spend more on an established name brand, or less on cheap junk you'll just end up replacing, or go with the Goldielocks solution offered by Crutchfield

This kit was just what I needed. My truck was already wired for 2 amps, but whoever did it only used a fuse by the battery. No in line fuse by the amps or anything, and a fully exposed power distribution block that was touching the carpet. My OCD and care for my truck made me tear everything out including the RCA cables that were there. This kit made the wiring so easy and neat. I love that the distribution blocks all have caps to cover the metal. The wire is also extremely flexible while at the same time being very strong. The sheathing is nice and thick and won't get cut open from dragging across anything. My truck is now wired for 2 amps and has all of the proper fuse protection neccessary, all while looking neat under the rear seat. I added the Crutchfield Reference RCA cables to my order so I will be ready to go with the best quality parts.

Great kit. Was long enough to connect 2 amps on each side of the rear cab of a 2020 GMC Sierra Crew cab. The only downfall I see is multiple size Allen keys needed for wire connections and wish it had ferrules for the wires. For the price great purchase.

Made my install easy. Was able to run the wire from the battery to the amp location with wire to spare. You will need to know all of your ground locations as the ground wire is only about 3 feet long. This wasn't an issue for me. If you are creative, the smaller ground that goes to the amp can add extra length for you. I had the perfect fit as I planned my install ahead of time and had wire left over.
Pros: Works great. My first full two amp installation and this help me tremendously.

Antonio, my sales rep, hooked me up! Sent me exactly everything I needed to install my new equipment. Very easy to follow instructions and what each part was used for. Great kit for 2 - 8 gauge amps distribution block has a 4 gauge in and then 2-8 gauges out. If you want to wire just one amp you can use the main fuse holder with 4- gauge in and 4 gauge out will work. Just not 4 gauge and 8 gauge amp this will not work.
Pros: This kit gives you a couple of options for wiring.
Cons: If your not using the entire contents of this kit then it's cheaper to source parts individually

Flexible wire kit

This is quality wire and a quality kit. Some extra fuses would be nice, because this set uses 4 fuses. This will be an extra expense in the future. The ground terminal was not attached properly. I tried to recrimp it twice. The connection was never really solid. I ended up replacing it with a better ring terminal from amazon. I crimp it on and it stayed on tight. Good kit for the price. But you will have to buy rca and various other small parts. Overall my setup cost about $200 dollars just for wiring/fuses/rcas/shrink wrap/ and terminals.

This wiring kit is overkill for a 4x50 watt amp and a 100 watt powered sub-woofer. A 4 gauge power cable? Could have also used a longer length of the smaller gauge power cable, or an additional connector/splitter that let you install both a larger and a smaller diameter cable on the downstream side. Once you overcome the installation problems, it works fine.

This kit worked great. I put ferrules and heat shrink on the 4 AWG and 8 AWG connections to the fuse and distribution blocks - you don't need to crimp these. They will crimp when you tighten the set screws on the blocks. I also put fork connectors and heat shrink at the connections to the Kicker amplifiers. It would have been nice if they came with the extra pieces needed for "clean" connections. Here are the extras that I used: four 4 AWG ferrules and four pieces of 10 mm heat shrink (3 read, 1 black), four 8 AWG "fork" spade connectors, four 8 AWG ferrules and eight pieces of 5 mm heat shrink (4 red, 4 black). Kicker amps have a "flat" power and ground connections. If your amps have round power and ground connections, you'll want extra ferrules in lieu of the fork connectors.
Pros: Wires are plenty long and very flexible.
Cons: Could have come with a couple accessories to make everything a little cleaner.

Very nice quality product. Feel as though it should include a 3rd (100a) fuse to be placed at the vehicles battery.

Everything you need to install an amp and a powered subwoofer.
Pros: Cheaper than buying separately
Cons: 1. Could have used an extra foot of length in the secondary power and ground wires 2. Would have preferred more standard fuses 3. The thick gauge of the wire made connection to the subwoofer difficult. Could have used some sort of adapter

Nice complete kit for wiring up my 4 channel amp and mono channel amp. Made powering up those guys super simple which I needed because I have never installed an amp before let alone two.

This kit is great if you are installing a sub and and amp in close proximity. But if you're putting the amp under the drivers seat and the sub in the back, it doesn't work out quite as well. The 4G wire has a quality housing and 17 feet would reach from the battery back to the cargo area in our 4Runner. However, we put the amp under the drivers seat and the sub in the back, so had to split the 4G at the front seat; there's not enough 8G wire to run to the amp and the sub. So we picked up some additional 6G wire to run back to the sub. Ended up not using most of the 4G wire. Also, with our setup, the grounds can't be connected using the supplied wire and block, so grounded the amp and sub separately and didn't use the block. Also, the plastic covers on the fuse blocks don't stay on very well, so have added some tape and hoping they'll stay.

Ground Cable terminals were mounted backwards on the mounting plate. Found some rubber grommets under it. Removed the screws and swapped it.

This wire kit is great! I love that it has wire loom and zip ties to make the install neat and clean. The wire is very flexible and the fuse holder and distribution blocks (fuses included) are easy to mount!

Not that great a saving if you're not going to install it yourself. I had mine installed by car audio specialists and they ended up having to use additional parts - which in turn cost some more money. Might as well buy the full kit from them. Further, got two different advice from Crutchfield specialists when ordering on the actual install kit i needed - for the same speaker/woofer/amp components. Which was interesting to say the least, but I was in a hurry and went ahead with the second Crutchfield rep's suggestion.

Good dual amp installation kit

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is I feel the 4ga ground wire is too short. While I understand 3 ft will work for most car audio installations, the kit would also work for RV, off road or motorcycle cycle installation if the length was 6 ft like the 8 ga power and ground. I had to buy a longer 4 ga ground so it would reach directly to the battery vice frame.
Pros: Comes with distribution blocks and fuses needed.
Cons: 4 ga ground wire too short for some applications

Overall high quality wire kit. Only issue was the distribution block came with a fuse rated higher than what was required of my mono amp. Also, the package states that it comes with two additional ring connectors but they were missing in the bag. Although I did have to call Crutchfield to ameliorate this, they responded swiftly with great customer service.
Pros: Comes with mostly everything you need to install two amps
Cons: Fuses may not be right match for your amps. Package contents inaccurate.

I just opened the kit and noticed it's missing 2 pcs 4-gauge ring terminals and 4 pcs black wire ties. I have not measured lengths of wire. Fuses come loaded in holders. Seems like a quality kit, but needs to be labeled correctly.
Pros: Seems good but haven't installed yet.

Kit came with everything I need to hook up my dual amplifiers. Wires seem to be high quality and distribution blocks are easy to work with.

All came as described. Wire was easy to work with and seems to be of high quality. Fuse holders though seemed a little cheap. The cover is easily knocked off and the the attachment points for the distribution blocks are a bit flimsy.

Just what you need to install 2 mid size amps. Everything in it seams to be of good quality. The fuse holders are nice, but I notice the covers are easy to knock off. That's the reason I dropped this rating to 4 stars. I used a wire wrap around each of the fuse holders to insure the covers stay in place.
Pros: Good price to install 2 mid size amps.
Cons: Fuse covers pop off easily.

Though this kit is a very high quality it lacks vital components. For the price of this kit it does not include enough. It should have the RCA cables and speaker wire at least. The price point for a kit like this is a rediculasly price when all it includes is heavy Gage wire and fuse boxes. You can find the same quality kit for less money and it includes more. I should've read into it a little more before purchasing. 2 stars for price and lack of all the components that you will need for any install you do.

The components of this kit are very high quality. The power cable is flexible and very easy to work with. I like that it comes with a fused distribution block, but the distribution block is where my one and only complaint lies. It only has 8 ga outputs instead of being sleeved for 4 or 8 ga. Luckily the metal is soft enough (aluminum I believe) that I was able to use a 5/16" drill bit to enlarge one side to accept the gauge wire. In short, this is a great wiring kit for powering two amps so it gets 5 stars still since I was able to modify the distribution block without any negative consequences.

Cons: Distribution block only has 8 gauge outputs. I feel it should be sleeved so it can accept either 4 or 8 gauge wire.

I opened the kit expecting the 4 gage wire to be stiff from being bound with twist ties. To my surprise it was as limp as cooked spaghetti making easy to work with. The fuse blocks are thick walled plastic,very solid and snapped together firmly plus they're attractive for showing your gear.
Pros: All things needed to run power to two amps in trunk in one kit. Well made product.
Cons: None. After doing a project of any type and completing it I do not wish to go back and trouble shoot to find out what went wrong. Get it right the first time. This kit is solid quality with eye appeal.

Good kit but for a couple of parts, the butt connectors are brittle, would have prefer to see the heat shrink butt connector type. The hard plastic grommet supplied for the 4 GA cord does not provide a good seal, would have prefer to see a heavy duty grommet or a strain relief. Other than that it is a great kit.
