Overview: The Bose S1 Pro+ System is a portable, multi-position PA system designed for musicians, DJs, and general PA use, making it an ideal floor monitor, practice amp or primary music system. It offers high output from a small, lightweight enclosure that's designed to be easily transported using the convenient built-in carry-handle. The S1 Pro+ System includes an onboard 3-channel mixer, 2 channels with mic/line level inputs with the third channel for running a wired auxiliary music source or for Bluetooth audio streaming. The included Lithium-ion rechargeable battery can provide up to 11 hours of portable use.

Mixer:

• Input Channels 1&2: Both consist of balanced XLR/1/4" jacks that can accept either mic- or line-level signals. Each of the two channels has its own rotary control that can access Volume, Bass, Treble, and Reverb options. The rotary control for channels 1&2 provides access to Bass, Treble, and Reverb adjustments, as well as for accessing Bose ToneMatch presets. These offer processing based on the type of input signal, such as a microphone or instrument type. Additional ToneMatch presets can be accessed from the Bose Music App (for iOS and Android) and your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. Each input channel has an LED signal indicator that glows green with an input signal and will turn red if the signal starts to clip.
• Channel 3 (Aux): Features a balanced 1/4" input for line-level signals and a 1/8" stereo input for playback from a portable music device. Channel 3 also includes the Bluetooth input for audio streaming. The Channel 3 rotary control provides Volume control as well as menu options that affect the overall system.
• Line Out: The S1 Pro+ includes an XLR Line Out jack to connect an additional powered PA speaker or subwoofer. The Line Out passes a post-mix line-level signal, either full-range or a crossed-over signal if the Sub EQ menu setting is activated.

Bluetooth: The S1 Pro+ includes the ability to stream music from a Bluetooth enabled device. A Bluetooth button/indicator on the rear panel provides easy pairing and indication of the Bluetooth status. The S1 Pro+ can only pair to one device at a time and if a call is received during playback, the music will be paused letting the call come through the phone and not the S1 Pro+.

Bose Music App: The Bose Music app, available for iOS and Android devices, lets you configure and control the S1 Pro+ from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet. The app lets you control the system remotely, manage system settings, as well as access exclusive features like ToneMatch preset customization and recall, channel mute, save/recall Scenes, and access the Dual Wireless Streaming feature.

USB:

• USB-A: A type-A port can be used to charge your smartphone or tablet (audio playback not supported).
• USB-C: A type-C port provides the connection to your computer for Live Streaming (USB-C cable not included).

Live Stream: The Bose S1 Pro+ can be connected to a computer via a USB-C cable (not included), letting you access Live Stream mode. This lets you perform live for an online audience or record directly to your computer digital audio workstation (DAW). In Live Stream mode, the PA sends a dual-mono mix of Channels 1, 2, and 3 out to a connected computer, with the channel volume controls acting as a "mixer" for the three signals. A Monitor Volume setting in the Channel 3 menu lets you adjust the volume of the PA separately from the mix sent to the computer.

Expanders: Each of the 3 input channels can independently have the Expanders setting activated in the ToneMatch menu. This setting reduces the volume of low-level background noise in the channel, such as electrical feedback, radio frequency interference, or environmental noise.

Wireless Transmitters (optional): The optional Bose Wireless Instrument Transmitter and Wireless Mic/Line Transmitter (both sold separately) let you wirelessly connect an instrument or microphone to Channels 1 and 2. Two ports on the S1 Pro+ mixer panel are provided for docking and recharging 2 Transmitters while the PA is powered on. The Transmitter(s) will get recharged via the same method the PA is operating on, either the internal battery or AC power. Up to 2 Transmitters can be paired to the S1 Pro+ at a time.

• Channel Inserts: When an optional Wireless Transmitter is connected to either Channel 1 or 2, the corresponding 1/4" input can be used as a Channel Insert, letting you run the wireless signal out to an effects processor and back into the S1 Pro+ (effects loop).

• A 1/4" TRS or 1/4" TRS-to-dual 1/4" TS cable will be required for connecting a Channel Insert and is sold separately.
• An instrument or microphone cannot be connected to a channel that has a wireless transmitter assigned to it. This will prevent both sources from playing.

Enclosure: The S1 Pro+'s polypropylene enclosure with a steel powder-coated grille was designed to be very lightweight while offering strength and durability. A built-in carry-handle on the top of the PA allows for easy portability. The S1 Pro+'s enclosure has been shaped to sit in various positions. It can sit upright or be tilted back at an angle and can also be laid on its side and angled like a floor monitor. A 35 mm socket on the bottom allows the PA to be mounted on a standard pole-mount.

Battery Pack: The Bose S1 Pro+ System includes a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack, pre-installed in the speaker. This provides up to 11 hours of operation without compromising the volume level. The S1 Pro+ can charge the battery while system is in use or off, as long as the AC power cord is connected to power. Battery life is displayed in the S1 Pro+'s Channel 3 display and the Power indicator will flash while the battery is charging. The battery will require up to 4 hours to fully recharge.
