About the Clarion FM100S
You've installed mobile video for your backseat passengers and now you're looking for an easy way to connect the audio to your car radio. The Clarion FM100S FM modulator may be the perfect inexpensive solution!
Plug the audio signal from your video source (VCR, VCP, DVD) into the FM100S's RCA audio inputs, and use the level-matching control to match the volume to that of your FM radio. A switch allows you to choose between 2 different modulation frequencies (87.7 MHz and 89.1 MHz) for the best possible reception in your area.
The 39" power wire has an in-line On/Off switch (which can be mounted in a convenient location). Connect your vehicle's antenna lead to the FM100S and then run its 21" antenna cable to your vehicle's radio. (Please enter your vehicle information a Sales Advisor will call you if any antenna adapters or tools are needed.)
If you have a MiniDisc, cassette, or MP3 portable you'd like to use in your car, the FM100S allows you to convert the audio signal into an FM signal which will play through your factory radio.
Important Note: If you are using a small portable with a female mini jack output, you will have to purchase an adapter cable (stereo mini plug-to-stereo RCA plug) to make connection to the FM100S modulator.

Product Research
Transmitting Frequency: You can select 88.7 or 89.1 as the transmitting frequency.
Output Level: Using the rotary level matching control, you can adjust the audio level so that it closely matches the level of the radio.
RCA Inputs: The modulator has RCA stereo audio inputs to receive a signal from any source that has RCA stereo preamp outputs.
On/Off Switch: A switch is provided to turn the modulator on and off. If the switch is not used, the car antenna will always be disconnected from the radio while the FM100S is active and radio reception will be negatively affected.
Connections: The FM modulator has three sets of connections; the power/ground, antenna, and RCA. The 39" power and ground leads have an in-line noise filter. The power wire, with the On/Off switch in-line, connects to the Accessory +12V. The ground wire connects to the chassis of the vehicle. For the antenna connections (21" cable), the male Motorola plug connects to the car radio antenna input, while the female Motorola plug connects to the vehicle's antenna. The FM modulator receives the audio signal through the RCA stereo audio inputs (on a 22" cable).
