Features
3.1Ch Digital Amplifier: The AudioSource ADTV3.1 digital amplifier is rated at 75 watts x 2ch + 80 watts x 1ch into 4-ohms @20-20kHz with 0.5% THD, allowing you to connect a pair of front speakers and a center-channel speaker. Plus, a mono-RCA output allows connection of a powered sub.
- 6-Pin Euroblock Connector: The digital amplifier is outfitted with a detachable 6-pin euroblock (phoenix-style) connector to attach your speaker wire (up to 14AWG). Banana plugs and spade-lugs are not supported.
- Mono-RCA Sub Out: A mono-RCA output allows connection of a powered subwoofer for bigger bass. The mono-RCA sub out has a built-in low pass crossover fixed at 130Hz, 12 dB/oct.
Audio Inputs: The AudioSource ADTV3.1 offers a variety of digital and analog audio inputs to connect your source components.
- HDMI eARC/ARC: The HDMI input allows you to connect your HDMI ARC or eARC enabled TV. The HDMI eARC/ARC input supports 2ch PCM only (up to 24-bit/192kHz). The HDMI eARC/ARC input does not support connection of DVD/Blu-ray players, satellite/cable boxes, game consoles, etc that have a traditional HDMI output. The HDMI eARC/ARC input must be connected to a TV with a HDMI eARC or ARC jack.
- Optical Digital: The optical (toslink) digital input allows connection of a DVD/Blu-ray player, satellite/cable box, or game console. The optical digital input supports 2ch PCM only (up to 24-bit/96kHz)
- Stereo RCA: A stereo RCA input allows connection of and external legacy source device, such as a CD or tape player.
Note: The HDMI eARC/ARC and optical digital input do not support Dolby Digital, DTS, or other multichannel audio formats.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming: The AudioSource ADTV3.1 offers built-in Bluetooth 5.0 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP); letting you wireless streaming stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or computer to the digital amplifier. You'll still control music playback and view song/artist/album information from your Bluetooth source device. You can pair multiple source devices with the ADTV3.1, but only one can be connected and used at a time. The amp has a Bluetooth wireless range of approximately 33'.
Remote Control: The ADTV3.1 amplifier offers IR remote control and supports HDMI CEC.
- IR Remote: The included IR (Infrared) remote control provides wireless operation of the ADTV3.1 amplifier. The remote offers control of functions such as power on/off, volume up/down, mute, source select (BT-ARC-OPT-AUX), as well as Bass & Treble. In addition, IR learning allows control of the AudioSource amplifier from your TV's remote control (learning functions include power on/off, volume up/down, and mute). There is no IR receiver on the front of the amp; an IR receiver is supplied that will plug into the IR In on back of the amp to allow for IR communication.
- HDMI CEC: When connected to the HDMI eARC or ARC jack of your TV, you can use your TV's remote control to operate power on/off, volume up/down, and mute for the AudioSource ADTV3.1 digital amplifier.
Trigger In: A 3.5mm Trigger In allows you to synchronize the power on/off of the ADTV3.1 with your connected source component that features a 3.5mm Trigger out. The amplifier will turn on with your connected source component and turn off after 30 minutes of your connected source component turning off.
Power Requirements: The AudioSource ADTV3.1 comes with an external AC power adapter and cord that will need to be plugged into the back of the 3.1ch amplifier and into an AC power wall outlet or surge protector/line-conditioner (sold separately).
Mounting Options: The ADTV3.1 digital amplifier can be simply mounted on a flat tabletop surface. It can also be wall-mounted using the included mounting brackets (mounting screws not provided).
Protection Circuitry: The AudioSource ADTV3.1 amplifier is designed with special circuitry to safeguard the amplifier under a thermal overload and short-circuit conditions.
