Stunning clarity and power
Kip from Bremerton, WA on 2/21/2025
I'm very satisfied. Owned for 1 year. It still amazes me. I upgraded from a NAD c375bee which was quite good, but the NAD is completely out classed by the A-S3200. Better in every way. It's such a pleasure to hear so much more from music I've listened to for decades. The clarity is so good I can tell what material the snare drum is made from. I can even tell what drumheads are used by the sharpness of attack and decay. I hear every breath of the vocalist in perfect detail. Every brief moment of silence is perfect. I never knew you could hear silence like that. The detail and precision I hear from my speakers is like nothing I have ever heard before. Passion, emotion, aggression, restraint; it's all there. Just perfect. From reviews I wasn't expecting a lot of warmth, but it has it. Not too much, just right. My speakers are alive now (psb imagine t2 tower). The entire frequency range is represented extremely well throughout all volumes, but the treble truly takes my breath away. There are times when I feel like I'm inside a perfect envelope of sound and I am still thankful for this experience every time I listen.

Amazing product
Richard from Kalamazoo, Mi on 5/1/2024
In short this is an amazing integrated amplifier. Not only is it built like a tank but the sound is full and rich with great separation. On B&W floor standing speakers (804s) it sounded superb. Paired with the 3000 CD player you'll have a system that lasts a lifetime and allows you to appreciate the music.
Pros: Sound Build Inputs Remote Meters
Cons: Requires speaker matching Lots of competition at this price point

Yamaha AS 3200
Emerson from Seattle WA on 9/20/2023
I have bought this unit after so many reviews that it is one of the best amps out there. After many Youtube and internet reviews, I decided to purchase one. I really regretted it. Sound is bland and boring. No punch on bass and if you listen to it when it is loud, the mid range overcomes the sound making it a unpleasant experience. I have the nice new JBL L100 75th Anniversary plugged into to it, and it does not drive them well. Would other brand of speakers work better? I don't know.... Don't waist your time and money on this unit....if I knew what I know now, I would have not purchased it.
Pros: Beautiful unit
Cons: Not very good sound in my opinion

Yamaha A-S3200 Integrated Amp
Crutchfield customer from TROY, OH on 2/13/2023
This is only my second day with this amp, but I must say I am very pleased so far. The build quality is outstanding, and it feels like it weighs a ton. It is a pleasure to behold, and the controls have a very tactile feel and satisfying mechanical sounds. Whether playing CDs, vinyl, or streaming the sound is fantastic. I'm running Wharfedale Diamond 2.0 and Magnepan MG-1.5/QR speakers with a Klipsch subwoofer utilizing the A/B switching feature. And the headphone amp it just as good with dynamic closed back type, and I have some planar headphones on the way. On the rear the brass speaker connectors are beautiful and really lock in the banana plugs on my Crutchfield speaker cables. I'm using the balanced XLRs to my Yamaha CD-S2100 player. It's very convenient having a remote again for the volume, and it can control the CD player too. The VU meters are sweet, but the needles are so fine it's hard to see them across the living room. That's about the only negative I can think of at this time. I originally was going to go with the A-S1200, then I decided on the A-S2200. But since this new hifi set up is a retirement gift to myself (courtesy of funds from my employer) I decided to go all out on the amp. Who knows, this just might be the last stereo equipment I live to purchase, lol.
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Hard to see VU meter needles and price.

Very impressive amp. First record I played was Pink Floyd Animals and was blown away. It was like listening to it for the first time. Outstanding quality all around. With its versatility to function as an amp or preamp, the possibilities are endless.
