I've been using the Denon 3000 NE for about a week now and loving it. I sold my Technics 1500 C I liked everything about it except the lift arm was not very good. You need to be confident to put the cartridge on or find someone to do it but I've done many so it wasn't a problem. It's a little pricey but the quality is exceptional quite solidly built if you are looking for a direct drive turntable I would recommend it.

Pros: Excellent quality great build

Cons: You need to be confident to install head shell

Absolutely Delighted

Looks and sounds beautiful. Very easy setup. Tracking force markings were about 1/4 gram light according to my scale. I am using a Rega Ania Pro cartridge from my previous turntable. It required a shim (included) to properly set VTA. But no noticable resonance issues using the shim. I absolutely love this turntable.

Pros: Beautiful appearance. Wonderful sound. Easy setup.

Cons: None

Replaced a Pro-Ject Experience with this table and could not be happier. Turntable is very heavy and built incredible at this price point. Currently using a Denon OJAS 103 cartridge on the table and like it very much. I will most likely be trying out a Hana ML as my next upgrade/experiment. This is a beautiful piece and I highly recommend looking at this table in the 5K and under price point.

Sublime playback

Parcel arrived in a timely fashion and professionally packaged. Set up. Straight forward and no issues assembling the parts on the turntable. Whilst the tonearm resembles the one on my Technics 1200 GR it is not remotely similar. Tone arm is very sensitive and not rigid. Balancing it was a wee bit of a struggle, but I managed to successfully balance 4 different carts on 4 different Headshells. Patience is the key. Synergy is a strange and elusive thing. No guarantees that replacing one component will improve your system. I didn't know if this Denon DP 3000 NE would best my Technics 1200 GR. First cart I used is the Denon 103. Music I played were some of my favourite female singers. Blossom Dearie-Blossom Dearie, Eddi Reader-Vagabond, Anne Lenox- Nostalgia . The Denon delived the vocals more foward than the Technics, the sound was richer, warmer and more refined. At this point I was all in. People Duke Ellington-Indigos. This album is simply beautiful and showcases the talent of Ray Nance. Nance a trumpet player in the brass section delivers a violin solo that is stunning. The Denon again delivers with a sublime playback. And again Nance delivers a clarinet performance that is stunning. This turntable really surprised me. I listened to the albums mentioned above a few hundred times and the Denon offered a sensational playback. System. Marantz 40n integrated amplifier. Project Tube Box phono pre amp. Heresy 4 speakers. I highly recommend the Denon DP 3000 NE.

Pros: Stunning playback. Build quality is excellent. Aesthetically beautiful.

Cons: None

Denon DP3000NE is a homerun

The turntable has exceeded my expectations. I am surprised the turntable wasn't 4000+ dollars. Marveling at the quality and craftsmanship of the product. The arm effective mass is greater than most of the direct drive competitors which opens you up to more MC cartridges with less compliant ratings. I have been using a Nagaoka MP500 which is supposedly borderline match for this arm and it sounds wonderful. I considered the 1210G but went with the Denon. Head shell provided is 11 grams. I am thrilled with my purchase. Also thumbs up to Crutchfield.

Pros: Beautiful turntable Great tactile feel of buttons and arm On the fly VTA Great lab report from UK review site

Cons: Arm mass info not definitive from Denon.
