Denon Home Subwoofer

I've been slowly transitioning from an ancient home stereo to a more modern set-up. I just added this Denon subwoofer to a pair of Denon home 350 wireless speakers. The set-up was easy. The HEOS system recognizes what you are pairing the subwoofer with and recommends a balanced setting for it. I listen to a very wide variety of music; opera/classical, electric and trance, some rock, jazz, and sound tracks. The subwoofer provides a solid low end punch when needed but does not dominate the sound. It can be punchy and harsh when needed. Or warm and noble. When playing opera, it does not at all interfere with the singers' performances; even the baritones and basses. But, man, if you play the theme from 2001; A Space Odyssey, this thing shines. The only trouble I have had is with Airplay. After grouping the subwoofer and two 350's into a group, the airplay connection has been a little unstable. But it does work. Overall, a very solid choice.

Very nice sub that completes your Denon Home speaker system Adding this sub made my Home 350 and 2 150's sound a lot deeper Like night and day difference very impressed of the sound of all the speakers put together
