Features
3000 Watt Power Inverter: The Cobra PRO 3000W (CPI3000W) power inverter can provide up to 3000 watts of continuous AC power, with a high-surge capacity of up to 6000 watts, from a connected 12V electrical system. Outputting a 90% efficient modified sine wave, the power inverter can provide longer run times for your connected devices while extending your vehicle battery life. The PRO 3000W features four GFCI AC outlets along with USB-A and USB-C Fast Charge ports for charging portable devices.
Note: The Cobra PRO 3000W is designed to work with 12V batteries and is not compatible with 6V or 24V electrical systems.
Applications: The PRO 3000W power inverter is perfect for providing power for a multitude of devices such as fans, power tools, entertainment devices, kitchen/bath appliances, LCD TVs, and more.
12V Battery Power: The Cobra PRO 3000W includes two sets of 4' power and ground wires (2-gauge) for connecting to your 12V battery terminals. Both sets of cables are terminated in 0.25" ring-terminals for connection to the inverter and the battery. Protective rubber boots are provided for the inverter's terminals. The PRO 3000W can operate on DC input voltage from 10-15 V.
Note: It is recommended to install a 200 Amp fuse or circuit breaker (sold separately) in-line on each of the two positive battery wires approximately 12" from the battery terminal. Two circuit breakers or fuse holders will be required.
AC & USB Power: The PRO 3000W features four GFCI protected AC outlets and two USB power ports.

Notes:
- Some chargers for small nickel cadmium batteries can be damaged if connected to the Cobra PRO 3000W inverter, including small flashlights, razors, and night lights that can plug directly into an AC outlet. This also includes some chargers for hand power tool battery packs that warn of dangerous voltages present at the terminals.
- The Cobra PRO 3000W outputs a "modified sine wave" (stepped waveform) that's suitable for most AC loads including linear and switching power supplies used in most electronic equipment, transformers and motors. However, some very sensitive electronics and medical equipment may not operate properly on a modified sine wave. In these cases, the Cobra PURE SINE 400W may be an ideal alternative.
Battery Operating Time: The operating time of your connected equipment will vary depending on the charge level of the vehicle battery, its capacity and power level drawn by the particular AC load. Care should be taken to calculate the total amperage draw of your connected equipment in order to determine the amp-hour rating for the battery (how long the equipment can run without draining the battery). The PRO 3000W user manual provides step-by-step instructions for calculating the amp-hours, including the Starting Load surge. When using a vehicle battery as a power source, it's recommended to start the vehicle every 1-2 hours to recharge the battery before its capacity drops too low. A selectable low-voltage alarm will let you know when the battery drops to approximately 11.5 or 10.5 V and will cut off power consumption completely at 10.5 or 9.5 V (selectable).
Power Switch, Display & Indicators: The inverter control panel includes a Power button for activating it along with a 3-character 7-segment LED readout that can show you the Battery Voltage, Output Power in kilowatts (kW), Output Power in Watts (W), along with any error messages. Corresponding Green, Yellow, and Red indicators above the readout will light to show which of the three values is being displayed on the readout.
Fan Cooled: Two built-in high-speed cooling fans help protect the inverter from over-heating.
Pentagon Protection & Safety Shut-Off: The Cobra PRO 3000W inverter provides 5 levels of protection and will shut down and/or sound an audible alarm if it detects one of the following: Over-Temperature, Reverse Polarity, Over-Voltage, Low-Voltage Alarm, and Low-Voltage Cutoff. The LED readout will also display a corresponding error code when a fault is detected. The inverter can provide 3000 watts for approximately 60 minutes before needing to cool down. A 15 minute cool-down will be required to resume operation at 3000 watts.
Remote Controller: The PRO 3000W includes a Cobra Remote On/Off Controller with Fast Charge USB (CPIALCDG1) that can provide remote on/off control of the Cobra PRO 3000 inverter, along with status information via an LCD display. The Remote Controller also features built-in USB-A and USB-C ports for fast charging your devices.
- Connection: The Cobra Remote Controller includes a 15' RJ-45 cable for connecting it to your Cobra inverter.
- USB Charging: Front-panel USB-C and USB-A ports let you quickly and conveniently charge your devices. Both USB ports can provide a 5V/3A or 9V/1.67A Fast Charge output.
- Power Control: The Cobra Remote Controller includes a power button for conveniently activating/deactivating the Cobra inverter.
- Display: A 2-line LCD display can provide vital information on the status of the inverter. When the inverter is powered on, the display will show the AC Output wattage and the DC Input voltage; when powered off, the display will show "Inverter Off". Fault messaging and an audible alarm will alert you when the power requirements or battery voltage are not in range. Faults include: DC Input Low Voltage Alarm, DC Input Low Voltage Cutoff Alarm, DC Input Low Voltage Alarm, DC Input Low Voltage Cutoff, DC Input High Voltage Alarm, AC Output Short, AC Output Overload, Inverter Over Temperature, and GFCI Trip.

- Flush Mount: A mounting flange around the controller allows it to be flush-mounted to a panel or console and installed using the two included screws. A 2.75" diameter hole will need to be cut out for installation, along with approximately 1.47" of mounting depth (including connection cable). The outer diameter of the controller is 3.35".
- Keyhole Mount: Two keyhole slots on the back of the controller let you hang it from a wall using the two provided screws.
- Cup Holder Mount: At 3.35" in diameter, the Cobra Remote Controller can conveniently sit inside most vehicle cup holders, providing easy USB charging for your devices.
- Clip Mount: The included clip mount simply snaps into the back of the controller and lets you attach it to a seat back or other temporary location.
