When Escort Has Subpar CS and Overcharges, Turn to Crutchfield

OEM cable; works as expected. I had to purchase this to replace my original cord which randomly bit the dust after about two years. Much better deal here at ~$40 shipped vs the ~$65 it was going to cost to purchase directly from Escort. Don't get me wrong...I love my Max 360 radar detector, but I have now had this power cord break and I've had a suction cup break. Escort's response is basically "lol sorry. buy another." You would think after spending $600+ on a radar detector and $200+ on a dash cam they would be more supportive of their customers. NOPE. So, thanks Crutchfield for saving me over 50% on this cord.

Nice to have a smart cord and the ability to connect a USB cable without a splitter. I definitely love the SmartCords, having the mute button near your hand is always convenient. Reason I am not giving it a 5 stars rating is because it needs an upgrade. With the smart phones of these days this needs to be upgraded to a fast charger usb port. It keeps your phone charged, but needs about 2 hours to charge a S22 Ultra from 15%.

This is the 3rd smart cord I am buying looks like Escorts builds this in a way to last a certain amount of time and then it's dead. Customer has no option but to buy again to replace. I hope this one lasts longer then the previous one's.
