Features

Product Overview: Q-Logic C-Series Q-Form custom kick panels are designed to hold a 2-way component speaker system consisting of a woofer up to 6-1/2" and a tweeter (up to 2" diameter). They are fabricated of durable ABS plastic, color matched to the factory interior colors, and replace the factory kick panels. The positioning and angle of the speakers provide optimum stereo imaging and staging.

No Grilles: Because no grilles are included with the Q-Forms, you must use the grilles supplied with the component system. In some cases, the grille could slightly overlap the mounting surface for the woofer. In this case the cutout can be made so any overlap occurs at the back bottom edge where it will not be visible.

Note: One of the included installation guides states that two Q-grilles are included. That is not the case for the C-series Q-Forms.

Compatibility: These Q-Forms are designed to fit select 1978-1991 Chevrolet and GMC Full-size Pickups, Blazers, Jimmys, and Suburbans.

Note: Please enter your vehicle information to verify compatibility.

Factory Colors: These kick panels match the factory Black interior trim.

Installation Notes

Installation Overview: You will need to cut out the mounting holes in the designated areas of the plastic Q-Form. A roll of foam tape is provided for sealing the woofer in the kick panel. The tweeter can be flush or surface mounted. Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kick panel. (Q-Logic advertises 4" minimum.)

I have these in my 1986 C10 they work well. You will have to cut the hole for the speakers because there are many variations in speaker size. Also I had to make 1" spacers because the components I used were just a little too deep, but the work and sound great! I have photos but there is no option to up load them on this site?

Q
Exactly how much do these kickpanel enclosures reduce driver foot space? How deep are they from the kickpanel surface to the outside edge?

Using Infinity Kappa 6.5" components in a '90 Suburban, the magnets on the woofers were a tight fit. There was not enough room to use the speaker covers because of parking brake interference. Even without the speaker covers, I have to be careful and step around the enclosure when setting my brake. Minor annoyance for awesome sound in an old truck with few other options.

I have a 1985 Chevy k5 Blazer with an automatic transmission. The panel does come very close to the parking brake when engaged (almost touches). As far as leg room, I don't notice that the panels take up any room and I'm 6'1".
