This fits poorly on my 2005 Acura RSX Type S. The 2002-2004 model differ from the 2005-2006 in regards to the sound deadening/insulation. I spoke with tech support from Q-Logic as well and while polite couldn't offer much assistance. He agreed that this enclosure was made from an earlier model RSX. This sub enclosure could be much simpler. They over designed this thing. The plastic "faceplate" as it is called, could not be necessary if they just made a simpler "box". This faceplate had to be trimmed to fit and I had to add a push pin through the upper mounting bracket to prevent it from falling off the box. I could not get the faceplate to mount 100% completely flush to the sub mounting area. For as much as this thing costs, it should install itself. Get back to the basics and design something simpler. This was way over engineered which causes too many installation issues. The faceplate could be a lot smaller which would get back a little bit of the trunk space too. Granted, it's better than having a single sub enclosure sitting in the back of the trunk, but it could be simplified. I doubt that Q-Logic will bother to remake this enclosure/faceplate since Acura stopped producing this car in 2006
Pros: Fits a 10 inch sub and provides a nice sound.
Cons: Terrible fit. Modifications needed. Faceplate too large. Over engineered (needs to be simplified). A better designed box could fit a 12 inch sub actually (happy with the sound from the 10 inch sub that I am using). For the price, this thing should be perfect. Obviously made for the 2002-2004 models, but Q-Logic never checked fitment on the 2005-2006 models. Now that it's in my car, I have to accept it for what it is.
