Would have been better if the plastic material was thicker for more stiffness and less flex.

Pros:

Cons: Not thick enough material.

2004 Toyota Tacoma

With a little bit of work, these installed pretty easily into my 2004 Tacoma. They look like a custom install, and really do improve the soundstage and imaging, however, do not expect to get any bass out of these. They are much too small to really provide any low end response, they work best for mids and highs and are a great upgrade from the stock locations, add a descent subwoofer to fill out the bottom end and you've got yourself a nice sounding system. The instructions suggest using a hole saw to cut out for your speakers and I have to agree, that is the easiest way to get a clean hole in these. Large hole saws are pricey, but the good news is these cut easily even with a dull one, so check craigslist or the pawn shops for some used ones. No need to spend a bunch of money on a brand new one that you're likely never going to use again.

Pros: FIts well, looks like a custom install, improves the soundstage and imaging.

Cons: Not really a con, but worth mentioning, you will want to run a subwoofer with these. Not a lot of airspace for a 6.5" driver compared to a car door. Cutting the holes is tricky without a hole saw.
