Designed to give you factory fit and finish plus great sound and durability, this Q-Customs enclosure by Q-Logic holds one 8" Type 1 subwoofer and fits in the storage well underneath the rear seat on the driver's side of your 1997-and up Dodge Dakota Club Cab Truck. It conforms perfectly to the shape of that area. The seat will rest at a slight angle after the installation is complete, so the package includes an accessory tray for the other side of the split bench that raises it to the same angle.

The photo shows how well this enclosure integrates with the interior of your vehicle. It looks like original equipment, but gives you deep, pounding bass no factory sound system can touch. Internal volume is 0.35 cubic feet. 1-year warranty.

Features

Compatibility: The enclosure is designed to fit under the rear seat on the driver's side in 1997-up Dodge Dakota extended cab trucks. The black enclosure is color-matched to the factory interior. Please check the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector for vehicle compatibility.

Materials: The enclosure is made of molded poly resin with a 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard) top panel for mounting the woofer. The bottom of the enclosure is molded to fit the contour of the vehicle's rear floorboard. The supplied plastic tray (W=17-9/16", H=2-13/16", D=11-625") installs on the passenger side over the jack storage area.

Hardware: Eight 1" self-tapping screws are provided for mounting the woofer to the enclosure. In addition, four 2" self-tapping screws are included for securing the woofer to the vehicle (holes are pre-drilled in the enclosure for the 2" mounting screws).

Recommended Woofers: This is a "Type 1" enclosure, made for use with an 8" driver designed for small sealed enclosures. The internal volume is 0.35 cu/ft.

Terminal Cup: There is a single terminal cup with two spring loaded binding posts, capable of accepting bare or tinned wire, pin connectors, banana plugs or dual banana plugs. The enclosure is meant to be used with a bridged or mono amplifier.

Does this fit a 2005 Dodge Dakota?

Greetings Evelyn. Thank you for your question. This is not a recommended fit for the 2005 Dakota. This fits up to 2004, and in 2005 Dodge has a body style change for the Dakota. We currently do not have a custom fit enclosure for the 2005.

Greetings Peyton. Thank you for your question. This enclosure is empty. You would need to purchase a subwoofer to install in this, therefore there is no power rating on just the enclosure.

Q Customs makes a box for 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab pickups. 2002, is not on that list for what ever reason. We do carry a JL Audio Stealthbox for your year. Greetings Colt. Thank you for your question. We actually do not make the boxes, we sell them. The manufactures of these custom fit boxes we carry, unfortunately do not have a dual 15 option. 15s under a seat is kind of a tight squeeze for any truck. Wish I had better news.

Only one of these boxes can be installed into a compatible pickup. Sometimes, we have other custom made subwoofer boxes for pickups and some of those have 2 subwoofers in them. I recommend contacting an advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 to check possible options for your pickup

You will have to buy your own. Be careful of the specs of the subwoofer you choose not just for depth but for the overall diameter. It takes a smallish 10 inch sub to fit.

We don't have a Q-Customs subwoofer box that can hold two 10" subwoofers for any pickup. But, we might have other brand boxes that can hold two 10" subwoofers.
