Tweeter can be flush or surface mounted, but if surface mounting make sure to allow for clearance from obstructions such as parking brake Installation tools required: hole saw (can also use air saw or keyhole saw), screwdriver Estimated Installation time: 1.5 hours per manufacturer Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kickpanel; however, the minimum flush mount depth for the tweeter is .75" and 2.5" for the woofer/mid bass component. This unit allows you to mount a tweeter with a maximum diameter of 2-1/2 inches and a midrange/midbass unit from 3 1/2 to 5 1/4 inch. The maximum cut-out you can make for the midrange/bass unit is 5.9", so a few 6.5" units may fit, but make sure to check the specs/features for cut-out and mounting depth of any components you sell.
