Great value for $100, but missing some hardware

I picked up this stereo kit to replace an old head unit with no Bluetooth and two blown speakers on a used pontoon boat I recently bought. For the price, it's a solid deal. Installation and setup were easy. The unit is simple-no bells and whistles-which is perfect if you just want something that works without fuss. Sound quality is decent, and Bluetooth connectivity works as expected. The only issue (and the reason for the 4-star rating) is that it doesn't come with the right mounting screws for the head unit. The manual shows four small screws meant to go through the face of the unit into the console, but only side-mount screws were included-more suited for a car install. I had to buy four #4 x 3/4" screws from a local hardware store to finish the job. Still, for $100, it's a good value and does exactly what I need. Just be ready to grab a few extra screws.

Could Use Wiring Explanation in Instructions

I gave this product 5 stars for great sound at a very modest price point with all of the features I was looking for. The install was on a small electric pontoon boat and I did find the installation instructions were lacking detail on the wiring side. My boat does not have a switched 12V source which was required in addition to direct 12 power source so I was a little confused. A quick call to Crutchfield's tech support resolved the issue but a little more explanation in the instructions would have been a confidence builder for the product itself. I have been a Crutchfield customer since they started and I will continue to be very satisfied!

Great setup for short money

I purchased this for my 1978 Apache Yuma-1 pop up camper. For the price, it cannot be beat. Easy to setup, great fit and finish, and the sound is more than adequate for my needs.

Fast shipping. The speakers had no wire supplied with them and the Head unit is a little difficult to get used to....maybe over time I will Like it.
