Do I need an enclosure for the speakers to use in my travel trailer when mounting in the ceiling?

No, you do not need an enclosure for the speakers if you are mounting them to the ceiling. But you will need a set of enclosures if you decide to mount an additional set of speakers on the outside of your travel trailer.

can i use a 4 way speaker as a marine speaker or should i get a normal marine speaker?

Depending on the application if it's going to be outside I would most likely use a Moreen speaker but if this speaker is going to be inside the cabin you might be able to get away with a four-way speaker promises with the moisture the marine speakers are designed for Moreen applications corrosion and rust etc.Enter an answer to this question.

Personally I would get a marine speaker because of the water and especially the salt air it will definitely last longer. As you can see Crutchfield has some great deals on them

If you are in freshwater you could probably get away with a standard car speaker as long as it has a non-paper cone and rubber surround. If you are on saltwater I wouldn't do anything but marine.

MB Quart NF1-116 were just what the customer service rep from Crutchfield said they would be. Great speakers for the price and my boat sounds awesome. Can't wait to hook up the amp to really see how my whole system performs. Thanks again Crutchfield!!
