Features

TV Compatibility: The Sanus Premium Series VLF728 full-motion wall-mount bracket supports 42" to 90" flat-panel TVs that weigh up to 125 lbs. The TV must also meet the following VESA and screw size requirements.

  • VESA Sizes: 100mm x 200mm to 600mm x 400mm
  • Screw Size: M6 or M8

Note: Additional hardware may be required for your specific model of TV. For example; shorter or longer screws, thicker or slimmer washers or spacers. These additional accessories can often be found at your local hardware store.

Solid Steel Frame: The Sanus Premium Series VLF728 features an ultra-strong, solid steel frame that provides maximum support to ensure your wall-mounted flat-panel TV stays securely in place. Once properly installed your wall-mounted flat-panel TV will stay exactly where you want it with no drifting or unwanted movement.

Full-Motion Design: Thanks to its full-motion design, the Sanus VLF728 wall-mount bracket lets you enjoy a great picture on your TV no matter where you watch it. You'll be able to tilt, swivel, extend, center, and level your wall-mounted TV without the need for tools.

  • Extend: The VLF728 lets you extend your TV 2.1875" to 28.0" from the wall to give you greater flexibility with your TV's viewing angle and to provide easier access to the TV's rear-panel connections
  • Tilt: If your TV has to be mounted low below a structure or high above a mantle or fireplace, you can tilt it 5° up or 15° down for the perfect viewing angle. The maximum tilt range will depend on size of TV.
  • Swivel: You are able to swivel your mounted TV to left 57° or to the right 57°, so you can have the perfect view of the screen no matter where you sit in the room. The maximum swivel range will depend on size of TV.
  • Lateral Shift: Your TV can slide from side-to-side on the VLF728 bracket for perfect center positioning on the wall.
  • Roll: You can also raise and lower the sides of the TV from -2° to +2° to make sure the TV is level once it is mounted on the wall.

Dual-Stud Installation: The wall plate must be mounted to two wall studs (16" on-center) or anchored to a solid concrete or concrete block wall using the supplied lag bolts (and wall-anchors). Plastic snap-on covers are included to hide the mounting holes for a clean, neat installation.

  • Drywall & Wood Stud Notes: Wood studs should measure at least 2" x 4" (nominal) or 1.5" x 3.5" (actual). The wood studs should be spaced apart 16" on-center. The VLF728 does not support 24" on-center wall studs. Drywall covering thickness should not exceed 5/8".
  • Concrete Block Wall Notes: Minimum concrete block size of 8" x 8" x 16" is required. Minimum solid concrete thickness of 8" is a requirement.

Cable Management: An in-arm cable management channel protects and conceals cables the length of the arm for a clean appearance, while a decorative cover conceals assembly and mounting hardware of the wall-plate for a finished appearance.

Installation Tools: The following tools are recommended for installing the VLF728 wall-mount TV bracket -

  • Tape measure
  • Tape
  • Stud finder
  • Level
  • Drill
  • Drill bit (7/32" bit for wood or 3/8" bit for masonry)
  • 1/2" Socket wrench
  • Awl
  • Screw driver
  • Hammer
  • Pencil

UL Certification: The Sanus VLF728 wall-mount TV bracket has been Safety Tested and UL Certified.

Customer Q&A

12 questions already asked

Q
Can I place the bracket such that only one stud is used or conversely if I place the bracket across two studs but want the tv aligned left or right of the center of the bracket do the supports slide to where I need it and still allow the tv to be flush to the wall?
ken  Oct 02, 2023

A
Greetings Ken. Thank you for your question. This mount needs to use two studs to securely mount the TV. This mount has a lateral adjustment. The Tv would need to be removed from the mount to make this adjustment. The install guide covers most all this. The center post that attaches to the wall mount brackets needs to be unscrewed and shifted over, then re-screwed back. At least that lets you center the TV much better.

Q
What is a good soundbar mount to use with this? I want to attach the 26 lbs Monitor Audio SB-4 to a 75 inch tv and have it move with the TV as 1 unit. I want the top of the soundbar to sit flush with the bottom of the tv (I saw other mounts have a gap issue).

I used this solution from Amazon with a Bose Soundbar 700 system and it worked perfectly. I suggest giving it a look. SoundXtra TV Mount for Bose SoundTouch 300, Bose Soundbar 500 & Bose Soundbar 700 - Black

Greetings William. Thank you for your question. This mount is not motorized, therefore all the adjustments are manual.

Q
Sanus VLF728. I see it pulls straight out but, was wondering can I shift it fully to the right? I have a double wide doorway that we want to shift the tv so its not always on the left side and more centered. Thank you.
obi1cannoli77  Aug 04, 2021

A
Yes, you can shift the bracket either left or right and out. The TV will be more flush with the wall when you move right or left. We have a similar situation with the TV between to sitting areas. With the movement to the right and left and swinging the TV either direction, this should work. We did get a TV that you can see clearly from the side angle. That probably helps for viewing from two directions. We keep our TV pulled out and have stored the receiver behind the TV on the bracket so no wires or boxes showing.
