A stylish look for your TV installation

The Sanus VXF730 mount presents a sleek, streamlined look for your on-wall TV installation. Its design is inspired by high-end kitchen appliances, with smooth, rounded lines and a brushed metal finish.

This sturdy low-profile mount holds your TV just 2-7/16" from the wall when fully retracted. Just give your screen a gentle pull and it smoothly extends outward up to 30-5/16".

An integrated cable management system keeps wires organized and out of sight without interfering with the motion of the extending arm.

This durable heavy-gauge steel mount supports a TV with a screen size up to 95" and weighing up to 175 lbs. The mount's brackets can easily be shifted to the right or left, in case the wall stud is a little off-center. And with ±2° roll, you can make fine adjustments after installation to keep your TV leveled.

Features

TV Compatibility: The Sanus Premium Series VXF730 full-motion wall-mount bracket supports 46" to 95" flat-panel TVs that weigh up to 175 lbs. The TV must also meet the following VESA and screw size requirements.

  • VESA Sizes: 200mm x 200mm to 600mm x 400mm
  • Screw Size: M6 or M8

Note: Additional hardware may be required for your specific model of TV. For example; shorter or longer screws, thicker or slimmer washers or spacers. These additional accessories can often be found at your local hardware store.

Solid Steel Frame: The Sanus Premium Series VXF730 features an ultra-strong, solid steel frame that provides maximum support to ensure your wall-mounted flat-panel TV stays securely in place. Once properly installed your wall-mounted flat-panel TV will stay exactly where you want it with no drifting or unwanted movement.

Full-Motion Design: Thanks to its full-motion design, the Sanus VXF730 wall-mount bracket lets you enjoy a great picture on your TV no matter where you watch it. You'll be able to tilt, swivel, extend, center, and level your wall-mounted TV without the need for tools.

  • Extend: The VXF730 lets you extend your TV 2.4375" to 30.3125" from the wall to give you greater flexibility with your TV's viewing angle and to provide easier access to the TV's rear-panel connections
  • Tilt: If your TV has to mounted low below a structure or high above a mantle or fireplace, you can tilt it 8° up or 17° down for the perfect viewing angle. The maximum tilt range will depend on size of TV.
  • Swivel: You are able to swivel your mounted TV to left 55° or to the right 55°, so you can have the perfect view of the screen no matter where you sit in the room. The maximum swivel range will depend on size of TV.
  • Lateral Shift Your TV can slide from side-to-side on the VXF730 bracket for perfect center positioning on the wall.
  • Roll: You can also raise and lower the the sides of the TV from -2° to +2° to make sure the TV is level once it is mounted on the wall.

Dual-Stud Installation: The wall bracekt must be mounted to two wall studs (16" on-center) or anchored to a solid concrete or concrete block wall using the supplied lag bolts (and wall-anchors). Plastic snap-on covers are included to hide the mounting holes for a clean, neat installation.

  • Drywall & Wood Stud Notes: Wood studs should measure at least 2" x 4" (nominal) or 1.5" x 3.5" (actual). The wood studs should be spaced apart 16" on-center. The VXF730 does not support 24" on-center wall studs. Drywall covering thickness should not exceed 5/8".
  • Concrete Block Wall Notes: Minimum concrete block size of 8" x 8" x 16" is required. Minimum solid concrete thickness of 8" is a requirement.

Cable Management: An in-arm cable management channel protects and conceals cables the length of the arm for a clean appearance, while a decorative cover conceals assembly and mounting hardware of the wall-plate for a finished appearance.

Installation Tools: The following tools are recommended for installing the VXF730 wall-mount TV bracket -

Sure it can, you will just need to have he correct tools to drill, anchor and mount it. No different

Yes

Yes with anchors. The bracket mounts flush to the wall. Would actually make the television mount position more flexible.

Q
Can you adjust the vertical position of the extension arm where it attaches to the wall mount?

A
I cannot change the vertical movement, except by tilting the screen downward-one of the main disappointments in this expensive, but excellent TV wall mount.
michael j  Oct 27, 2021
A
No. You can adjust the horizontal position but not the vertical.
bruce  Oct 27, 2021
A
There is no adjustment at the wall mount side. However, there is some vertical adjustment on the TV side of the bracket. Sanus has a great web-tool that helps you nail down your dimensions so you don't have to go thru trial and error to finalize the placement. The web-tool address comes with the installation instructions.

No The position of the wall bracket determines the position of the extension arm. There is a track that the arm hangs from for horizontal adjusting. there are very good instructions included to determine wall height of the bracket relative to your television size and desired height of viewing. It seems there is a website they direct you to to determine mounting position. Despite the width of the bracket you still need to attach the television bracket between two studs. The mounting lags need to be in the adjacent studs. In effect the whole mount could hang from a wall bracket that was just over 16 inches instead of the 30+ inch width. the total width of the wall mount itself is too short to reach across three stud spaces so you are limited to one stud space for adjustment.
thomas  Oct 25, 2021
A
No, the articulated extension arms as they leave the vertical plate responsible for right/left positioning of the tv are in a fixed position. The vertical plate which attaches the arms to the frame bolted to the wall are also fixed.

What is the difference between the Sanus BLF328 and the VLF728?

All the specs seem pretty much the same, so I can't parse the difference.. I can say that I just upgraded my VLF to the VXF730 - the VXF is substantially more robust - handles 175#s vs the VLF or BLF 125#s.. also it extends a couple of inches away from the wall which allows my 86" to more fully swivel.. highly recommend the VXF.
