Sanus WMS3
Carl from Durham, NC on 11/20/2023
Used to mount a pair of Sony SA-RS5 satellite speakers. Took a while to figure out the best mounting option, and it was not clear from the instructions exactly how the connection to the speaker was supposed to go. Once I figured that out, mounting was pretty straightforward. The kit comes with the angled mounting arms pictured as well as shorter, straight arms.

Functional But Poor Quality Fastening Hardware
Earl from Rochester , NY on 6/26/2023
These are quite functional with many options for positioning of small speakers. The mounts themselves are made of plastic, although the material appears to be very strong and durable. That said, the screws and bolts supplied are not the highest quality. I stripped the head of one of the wall mount screws and now have to spend a lot of time and energy driving it the rest of the way in. In the mean time I will go to a hardware store and buy much better quality screws for the second speaker installation.
Pros: Flexible mounting choices
Cons: Poor quality fasteneers

Great Wall Mounts!
Michael from Birchwood, TN on 4/14/2023
Worked great for wall mounting the rear satellite speakers from our Polk Audio MagniFi MAX AX SR soundbar system. Comes with an assortment of hardware that support all types of speaker mounting configurations. These mounts are made of a sturdy plastic. They are well made and don't have any issue supporting our satellite speakers. Highly recommended!
Pros: Well made. Lots of speaker mounting hardware included. Easy installation with good instructions included.
Cons: None

Multi-purpose Brackets
Eric from Charlottesville, VA on 6/9/2022
For the price point, these are some awesome mounting brackets! Are they invincible? No. Do they get the job done? Absolutely! These were a great fit for my SVS Prime Elevation speakers as surrounds in the living room. Our sectional sofa took up most of the rear and side wall on one side of the room, and a bookshelf made positioning difficult on the other side of the room. The Sanus WMS3 mounts were a great way to mount the speakers on the rear wall, angled down, directed toward the listening positions. Installation took a little trial and error to find the best mounting options, since there are 3 types listed in the documentation. The only set-back I ran into was that the allen wrench bolt can cause damage to the plastic if tightened too far. A stud finder, drill, and a cup of coffee are all you'll need for these bad boys! Note: Pictures from the review are before I put the wires in the ceiling and used the screw covers. I've since cleaned it up a little more.
Pros: Lots of positioning options, flexible for all sorts of speaker placements, easy to install, good for speakers up to 8lbs.
Cons: Be careful tightening the allen-wrench screws! The brackets are plastic, not metal.

What is very helpful is all the hardware included in the package is clearly labeled and marked. In my situation I was installing the speakers on the wall and had to have a specific size bolt to fit through the mount into the speaker. Once I found the hardware and the hex wrench, the rest was easy in terms of putting the brackets together and making final adjustments before final installation. Very pleased with the results and would recommend these mounts to anyone with small speakers.

I am disappointed and will be returning the brackets. They appear to flex more than I am comfortable with. I'm afraid they will break and the speakers will fall on somebody and injure them.

Junk
Mike from Wilbraham, MA on 1/16/2022
I can't see these holding an 8 pound speaker. The plastic post that connects the speaker to the arm broke and dropped a brand new Polk ES10 ( only 6 pounds) before I could even connect the wires. Luckily the exterior damage was minimal as it landed on my foot. Don't know if I the internals are ok as I haven't hooked it up to test it.

Would not hold the 7lb speakers that I wanted to mount. Probably ideal for small satellite speakers. A lot of moving parts in order to get the mount positioned the way you want it to be and didn't like that they won't rotate 90 degrees.

So far so good
Richard from Ormond Beach, FL on 5/6/2020
Using them for Atmos overhead with Polk Owm3. My only issue is tightening the right amount. Too much and they come apart. Too little and they don't hold. So far no issues, but still worry about the speakers falling
Pros: Easy set up
Cons: Not confident they will hold

Excellent build quality. I'm glad I purchased these, after researching (& testing) multiple stands with "5-stars" - these mounts actually earn them. I'm a beginner audiophile, and very glad I got these - if you're OCD like me, and have to know you got quality, get these.
Pros: High build quality, flexible placement, sleek and clean look.

I had different product like these that broke on me. Decided to go with these instead. They are very well made and easy to install. Although a little pricey, it was worth it. I have four high end speakers I've hung from the ceiling. They come with caps over the adjusting screws, so they look nice and streamlined. Highly recommend these for ceiling or wall mount.....
Pros: Easy to mount, looks nice, comes with variety of screws for different speakers.
Cons: Price is a little high

Sturdy Mounts
Andrew from Center Valley, PA on 12/30/2017
Very flexible/universal set of mounts. Used them as a pair to mount a Definitive Technology ProCenter 1000 center channel speaker. Did not the ceiling mount extensions due to the size/shape of the speaker. Plenty of different mounting options included in the box. I cut and mounted 2x4 blocks above mounting location for secure mounting. If you are mounting small/light satellite speakers drywall anchors may be okay, but i would definitely recommend hitting wood if possible! Great Mounts for a Reasonable Price - Definitely Recommend!
Pros: Sturdy, Flexible Application, Universal, Clean Design, Included Hardware, Sold as Pair

The mounts were straight forward to assemble and attach to the wall. However, the insert into the speakers (Definite technology ProMonitor series) is just a bit too large in diameter. Therefore, I had to take off a little of its outer diameter with a file.
Pros: Easy to assemble; versatile; work on ceiling and wall
Cons: Mount to speaker (Definitive Technology ProMonitor series) a bit too large.in diameter.

Waste of Money
SeattleJo from Seattle, WA on 10/9/2012
I bought these to wall mount the cambridge s20's which are a little under 5lbs. I can't keep them from sagging, and the end attachment that connects to the keyhold on the speaker looks like it might not hold (It doesn't look firmly connected), and I can't tighten it anymore without damaging the plastic. Very disappointing purchase. This mount came as a recommended accessory from Crutchfield when purchasing the speakers. Terrible recommendation!
Pros: Small/minimalistic, looks fine.
Cons: Looks like it might not hold 5lb speaker, won't hold 5lb speaker at angle I want it too.

Garbage
RDSWY4 from WY on 4/22/2012
Rated for 8 pounds but "hangs" with a 4 pound speaker (No matter how it is mounted and following the instructions to the letter). Cheap plastic. Packaging is a nightmare to open so returns are pretty much impossible. Very disppointing purchase. Spend the extra $ and buy top quality and metal (if possible) mounts if your speakers weigh more than 1 pound with these.
Pros: Almost unlimited movement to aim speakers where you want. Stylish design.
Cons: Too many to list.

Sanus is "the" name in speaker mounts. I recommend this pair if you have satellite speakers, under 8 lbs., and need a quick and dependable mount. They are easy to mount, even easier to aim and adjust, and look 'smart' wherever you need them.
Pros: Easy to mount, easy to aim, solid, dependable, sturdy
Cons: Solid black - which can contrast to certain decors

Speaker Mounting Brackets
bobw from Fort Lauderdale, FL on 5/25/2011
Good product. I used them to install the rear speakers of my sound system from the ceiling. The only problem is that the bracket is not hollow and I had to run the speaker wiring externally so it doesn't look as good. Also, I found the identical brackets at Best Buy the next weekend for $14.99. Next time I'll shop around more.

Impressive!
Tinchdogg from North Central, IA on 2/19/2011
I'd have to say I was impressed with these wall brackets! I love how you can move these things to any angle you want. The only problem I had was I owned the Polk Audio TL2B satellite speakers and these wall mounts didn't come with a screw long enough to fit into the back of the speakers. Mostly due to the design of the speakers but I called Crutchfield and they sent me a screw kit that had longer screws in it! So at the end of the day I am very pleased with these wall brackets and would recommend these to anybody!!
