Tight fit

The only issue I have with these shelves is the compartment the Sonos 1 power cord is supposed to fit in. The Sonos 1 comes with a 5 or six foot power cord. The power cord has to be wound up in a circle so it fits in a 3x3 inch space that is the height of the power cord. I was able to do this but it is not an easy task. For it to be truly compatible with a Sonos 1 speaker Sanus should include a shorter power cable or build the electrical plug and Sonos plug into the shelf.
Pros: Holds a Sonos 1 speaker. Easy to attach to the outlet.
Cons: Power cord compartment is too small for a 6 foot cord Sonos supplies with a Sonos 1 speaker.

These are awesome! Easy to install and what a great use of space.
Pros: Only requires a regular screwdriver for installation and they look great.
Cons: It was a pain to coil the electrical cord tight enough for the lid to close, but we did it.

Looks great and fits well with the Sonos speakers. Gives it a nice clean look.

This is a great little shelf for charging remote control. I use it for my Harmony Ultimate, its charging base, and a small inexpensive USB adapter plugged into the outlet below. It looks like it was designed for the remote (see photo) and in our case handy since the wall outlet is a perfect location.

Product came quickly and packaged well. Mounted two in my garage for Sonos SLs. Cord management could be better if base was slightly thicker. Other than that they're great.

This space saving design is pretty slick. I use it with Sonos One. The only downside is that the cord storage could be easier to use, but that is also only an issue with longer power cords. Kudos to sanus for including both types of outlet plates. High quality item.

Perfect solution for a simple shelf. I actually used this for my Amazon echo dot in the Kitchen and it looks and functions great. One nice bit that is not readily apparent is the cord management in the base of the shelf- no dangly bits and a nice clean look.

Extremely handy, as I have plaster walls and didn't want to have to drill any new holes. Likely could've been designed to take up a little less space, but gets the job done.

I've been a SONOS user for over a decade. Putting the Play 1 in our new Master Bathroom presented a problem because we only had one outlet to work with, it was going to take up a little too much room on the counter top and it was too close to our double sinks (the wife did not approve). In comes Sanus with this brilliant outlet shelf and it solved all of our problems. This product is very well made, looks great on our wall and is priced very reasonably. The white works great with the white Play 1 too.

I love the stand just wish it came with the shorter power for the sonos. You have to order that short cord elsewhere.

Perfect Shelf Solution

The Sanus outlet shelf is the perfect solution for a Sonos Play 1 or Sonos One. I needed a way to get the speakers off of the countertops in 2 bathrooms, and these well designed, easy to install shelves, were the perfect solution.
