No-drill solution for swiveling
William from Northport, AL on 12/15/2022
Great looking and sturdy alternative to a full motion wall mount in my case. The angled support maximizes usable space beneath the TV and increases swivel range by spacing the TV off the wall. I have a Hisense 65U6H mounted and it looks great.
Pros: Sturdy, good looks, cable management.
Cons: Expensive

Glenn from HADLEY, MA on 11/14/2022
It works with QN90B 55". Used long spacers , M8-35 screws and the washer where it should be. Thread depth in detailed specs on TV says 11-13mm. Make sure you check as I understand it varies on models. I had the OCD going on and it worked out just fine. Rubber pads seemed to slide more than I cared for on the glass over full wood top. Once TV was hanging the added weight eased my concerns. Happy with it.
Pros: Sturdy.
Cons: Bottom pads could be just a little more tacky.

Great TV Stand
M Thomas from Timonium, MD on 9/4/2022
The Sanus WSTV1 is a great stand for mounting your TV. It allows for space for a sound bar and it swivels the TV without moving the soundbar. It does take longer than 20 mins to assemble. I would suggest having two people for this process as the stand is VERY heavy.
Pros: Sturdy stand that does what is advertised: swivel and provide space for a sound bar.
Cons: Very heavy and two people should be used for assembly.

John from Duluth, MN on 2/19/2022
This stand was perfect for my use. I was considering a new 43 inch TV and was concerned that it would not clear my center channel speaker or the stand would block the rear facing sound port. The stand was easy to assemble and mounting the TV was a piece of cake. There was plenty of adjustment to clear the speaker and the port was not blocked. All my concerns were unnecessary. Great product!

Resolved the center channel issue and is very stable.
Joshua from Takoma Park, MD on 1/10/2022
I needed this stand to raise the TV to allow for a center channel speaker to slide in below. It was an unexpected cost, but after discussion with Crutchfield customer service, it seemed like a better solution than changing out the speaker or having the tv sit on top of the speaker. As always, Crutchfield support was great. One star off because the bolts provided were either too short or too long, which meant I had to buy additional washers and use 4 washers on each bolt to get a proper fit.
Pros: With small children in the house and around the tv, this stand is much more stable than the factory Samsung stand. The bases is very heavy and sturdy.
Cons: The bolts provided didn't fit the TV, so I had to use additional washers to get a tight fit.

I got the Sanus WSTV1 because the LG 65" TV I got had a fix stock stand that could not turn at all. I recommend having a second person to help potion the TV to adjust the height of the TV. The only problem is the stock speakers echo a lot because it's not design for this stand.

Excellent overall stand. Easy to assemble. Solid heavy duty build quality.
Pros: Raises Sony oled 55"TV 9.5" which is awesome. Super solid heavy duty build quality.
Cons: When swivel is utilized, TV tilts down (about an inch) on the right side. I can easily adjust the screen upwards on the right side to level it. Other than this, it's solid as a rock and a great stand.

Great stand, very adjustable and well built.
Anthony from Lawrenceburg, IN on 6/13/2021
I purchased the Sanus WSTV1 TV stand as I needed a pedestal type mount for my application. This stand is heavy duty, all steel and weighs 30 pounds. It will easily hold most TV's and all hardware is included. Another thing that I really liked about this stand is the adjustability of it. My previous TV's had center stands, but I had a swivel on my entertainment center to angle it. I also was able to place my center speaker and DVD player right underneath the TV. This was a concern when buying the Sanus WSTV1. I easily had enough room under the tv and you also have the ability to angle the TV right, left, up, down. So I'm very happy with it. As far as my purchase from Crutchfield, I choose to buy one from the Outlet. I've done that previously and products were virtually new. So I decided to save a few bucks. Everything was packaged as new with the exception of a lot of the hardware was not separated and was in a ziplock bag, I suppose from the previous purchaser. That was a little irritating having to sort it out and figure what was used for what. If purchased new, every fastener is separated by size. I'm happy with the stand, and went to do a review on it. Then I noticed the price was lowered almost $20.00 on it. I contacted Crutchfield and they immediately refunded the difference. Excellent company to do business with, never disappointed. They may be a little more sometimes, but I'll pay for good customer service and support. I've been a customer since 2005.
Pros: Steel construction, heavy (supports TV), adjustability.
Cons: None!

Excellent
Stanley from Gilbert, AZ on 4/15/2021
Easy to assemble and had a good collection of screws and adapters. The washer selection though was poor, the included two sizes had a too-small outside diameter and could slip into the mounting bar's slot. Lots of extra width in the channel for larger ones. Easy enough to pick up slightly larger 7/8" / 22 mm OD ones that fit in the bar's channel and fully cover the slots. Easy to swing sideways but solid enough it never moves without us. The tilt adjustment is a bit finicky but once done it should never need tweaked again. We have a 65" Sony XR-90 on it and it is rock solid. The height adjustment is fairly simple to figure out and it is east to try a test hanging and fine-tune it from there. We went with a 6" height from the stand base to TV bottom, easily could have gone lower or higher if needed. It is a big stand (good if you want stability and no need for other bracing) so be prepared for that. Ours is mounted 1/8" off the back of the TV and extends 10 inches behind the back of the set.
Pros: Solid, simple, easy.
Cons: TV mount washers are a bit small in OD.

Nice But Has Room For Improvement
Steve from EUGENE, OR on 3/17/2021
Because of the 1 inch tall stand LG ships with their CX model TV, I had to find a solution to raise my new 65" CX up about 2 inches so the soundbar wouldn't block the bottom of the TV and mounting on the wall wasn't an option. This was the best solution I could find. It seems to be a very high quality stand. It is much deeper then I expected and just barely fits on my narrow entertainment stand and the weight of the TV makes it have an ever so slight tilt forward no matter how the tilt screws are adjusted. There isn't much wiggle room for tilt adjustment (maybe a 1/4) inch and it is a massive pain to reach both screws to do. A hand screw knob and more of a tilt allowance would make this stand much better. Easy enough to build, difficult to hang the TV on the bigger your TV is. 2 people are for sure recommended, probably 3 so one can hold the stand to keep it from sliding while trying to hang the TV. It does the job and looks great despite the slight tilt forward that it has. All this could have been avoided though had LG made ther CX stand a more standard height to account for soundbars.
Pros: Sturdy, nice cord organization, looks good.
Cons: Bad tilt design, weight of TV will cause the TV to slant forward a bit, quite deep, make sure it will fit on your TV stand if it's a narrow stand.

So far so good. Did not want to use the stock feet on the TV as to where it was located in the room. Heavy base and easy to assemble. Sanus gives you plenty of screws to attach to the different makes of TVS. Easy to attach a Sony XBR-55A8H TV to with assistance. Swivels easily. Has a place in the stand to run wiring and shield is easy to remove and replace. Have a Sanus wall hanger in our bedroom, that's how I knew how well built Sanus makes their products. There is not any plastic or rubber except for certain spacers.
Pros: Heavy, easy to assemble, quality made with quality materials.

Love this stand. I am using it to support a 49" Sony XBR. It is substantial (weighs in at nearly 30 pounds), height adjustable and swivels. The swivel mechanism works very smoothly (only one finger necessary). Also has a tilt adjustment, but that involves loosening and then re-tightening two set screws, and is intended only for making minor adjustments in order to level the unit, reduce glare, or optimize viewing angle. Height adjustment is great if your intention is to set a center channel speaker or soundbar immediately below the unit. Wires can be neatly hidden from view.

Great Stand
Crutchfield customer from El Segundo, CA on 11/30/2020
Bought this for a recently purchased Sony 55 inch TV and it worked out very well. This Sanus WSTV1 was easy to assemble, and the installation kit provided a wide variety of hardware to accommodate many different TV's.The instructions and help options made the assembly process a breeze . Much improved over the factory stand provided with the Sony TV purchased. The stand is sturdy, and there is no problem supporting the weight of the TV once assembled. The height can be adjusted for both improved viewing angles and to accommodate many different sound bar types. The design of this stand has considered routing of cables as well to minimize the appearance of clutter. Once assembled the TV can be swiveled to the sides to offer even more viewing angles in a room .Great stand .
Pros: Offers a better range of height, side angle and tilt adjustments without compromise to support .
Cons: Heavy due to its solid build

This mount, and a different I purchased earlier for a 49" tv, allowed us to utilize existing TV stands, tables that weren't wide enough to accommodate the wide feet of the LG TVs. Essentially we saved hundreds of dollars by using these mounts. They are very sturdy, pivot and are height adjustable.

Greg from Pacifica, CA on 5/2/2019
Very nice product - generally easy to put together and stable. One not of caution - the description accurately notes a 5 degree tilt. This is 'up' only and even in its 90 degree neutral position, my example had a slight positive tilt leading to more reflections. Would be good if the tilt was both + and - so it could tilt a degree or two down
Pros: stabe, swivel
Cons: slight positive tilt when 'neutral', no capability for downward tilt

The TV Base does what it is supposed to do (mount the TV above the Sonos Playbase). Unfortunately the Playbase doesn't sit on the stand correctly and is not an exact for the speaker. This issue is kind of disappointing but I can live with it. The overall effect is good and it does what it was designed to do.

Cons: Playbase is not quite an exact fit for the base of the stand. Assembly instructions could have been clearer.

Very nice
Matt from Tolleson, AZ on 5/5/2017
This is a very sturdy unit, the amount of swivel side to side is great. The fact that it has a single center support allows it to take less surface space than the original stationary TV legs. Also has a small amount of horizontal angle adjustment. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's a bit pricy, and, combined with the weight of the TV, it's very heavy.
Pros: Sturdy, good amount of swivel
Cons: A bit pricy, very heavy attached to TV
