WIN - WIN!
Thomas from Stephenville, TX on 3/22/2025
It was a pleasure doing business with Crutchfield and would not hesitate to do business with them again. Received the Nikon D780 and have had the opportunity to take several pictures in different locations and in varied lighting conditions. I am extremely happy with the performance and operations of the camera. Win - Win.
Pros: ONLY GOOD.
Cons: NOTHING BAD.

Very refined camera
Cary from Dahlgren, VA on 5/5/2024
I like how Nikon has refined their DSLR cameras over the years. Nikon's excellent 51 point autofocus system which is used on different Nikon DSLR cameras has been improved on the D780. The D750 used UHS-I speed SD memory cards. The D780 can use the UHS-II speed SD memory cards. The U1 and U2 memory bank settings on the mode dial are great for quickly recalling frequently used settings. The 24 megapixel sensor is now a BSI (back side illuminated) type for better low light performance and lower digital noise.

Full format is worth the money
Jim from Charlottesvle, VA on 12/5/2022
Amazing camera. Went with this over D850 for newer processor and over Z for using my existing lenses. Everything I hoped for in upgrading to FX from my D90 DX format.
Pros: D780 handles action and groups better than new Z mirrorless line. Has newer processor than D850 which was otherwise considered Nikon's best camera ever, though only sacrificing some features I didn't need.
Cons: No built in flash Unclear if Nikon will phase out DSLRs completely in favor of mirrorless (Doesn't impact what this is now though.)
