This is now my all purpose go to lens for my d850. Love the picture quality and low light capability. Lens does have a few pounds to it but is manageable.

Phenomenal lens. Has all the bells and whistles expected. More importantly, takes full advantage of my D800 large file format. Very crisp. Minimal to zero distortions. My landscape and architectural photos need minimal processing beyond cropping. Have yet to try it for portraits. One potential downside for the casual photog - as this wondrous lens weighs so much, and is a tad costly, this is not the best lense for casual vacation use.

Cons: One potential downside for the casual photographer - as this wondrous lens weighs so much, and is a tad costly, this is not the best nor most convenient lense for casual vacation use.
