Amazing lens
Absolute beast of a lens. Delivery was fast and just in time for family christmas photos in door. Best 50mm I've used and highly recommend it if you haven't purchased yet. It's larger than the f mount 50mm 1.8G but I think it's still lightweight, compact and it balances well on my Z6III. I could still walk around with it and not be bothered by the size. Auto focus is fast, its sharp across the entire frame, and bokeh is lovely.

This is a very sharp lens and one of my favorites for portraits from Nikon. It's a little more expensive that it's F-mount equivalent, but optically the Z-mount is superior.

Nikon Z 50mm: Exceptional Versatility

The Nikon Z 50mm f/1.8 S is an excellent lens. It's sharp, has beautiful bokeh, and is built like a tank. However, it's also not the smallest or lightest lens on the market, and it's not cheap. If you're looking for the absolute best 50mm lens on the market, then this is the one for you. But if you're on a budget or you're looking for a smaller and lighter lens, then there are other options available. Personally, I love this lens. It's my go-to lens for street photography and everyday shooting. It's sharp, it's fast, and it's built to last. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality 50mm lens.

Sharpest 50mm I have ever used. Compact and balances well on my Z6, though larger than a 50mm 1.8 G. Incredibly sharp across entire frame.
