Customer Q&A

14 questions already asked

Q
Would this work for my Pioneer pl-s30 turntable?
brendda75  Aug 17, 2023
1 answer
A
This depends on which type of headshell is on your Pioneer PL-S30 turntable currently, Brenda. Looking at the specifications on your turntable it was available with both standard mount cartridges like this Audio-Technica AT-VM95C and P-mount cartridges which we currently do not carry. If you have two screws holding your cartridge to your headshell mounted from the top down, this Audio-Technica will be a great choice. If you need us to confirm and have a good picture of your tonearm assembly, give us a call at 1-800-324-9695 and an Advisor would be happy to help confirm, we are always here to help!

It worked on my SL-D2 turntable. It is a matter of the 4 pins and the screws on each side of the cartridge. My guess is it will work, but if it doesn't you can return it. Crutchfield is Fantastic!!

Q
Will this fit a technics bd-10 ?
bill  Apr 25, 2021
2 answers
A
It should if BD-10 has a standard cartridge mount . I'd call Crutchfield.
michael  May 10, 2021
A
I specifically don't know, but look at the relative size, attachment method and the length. If it is close to what you have give it a try. It worked well on my SL20. I knew it would work because it fit the size, attachment method and wire hookup set up. You have adjustments on drag and weight so that is not the issue. Crutchfield is great at giving you input. Just use it. If it doesn't fit then return it. Mine worked great!!

I don't see a reason why it wouldn't , you may have to do weight adjustments depending upon how you use your turntable.

Q
Will this fit a DUAL 1019 turntable?
todd  Mar 05, 2021
4 answers
A
I bought this to listen to some 78 rpm records that I have. I chose this because the stylus is large enough to not bottom out in the grooves. I'm going to install it on an Audio-Technica turntable, which is back ordered right now. It looks like a standard phono mount so I expect it would also fit a DUAL 1019 turntable. Sorry I can't give you a definite answer.
toshi  Mar 05, 2021
A
It looks like the same replacement that was sent for my Dual turntable. Except my turntable apparently had a defect and other issues and had to be returned. Hope this helps.
karen  Mar 05, 2021
A
This should work well on a Dual 1019. Not only that, it should sound great cause these ATs really match well with Duals and Thorens. The blind mounting nuts help with installation. This is an inexpensive cartridge, but its soundstage is anything but cheap and will shame many in the $100 -$200 range.
thomas george  Mar 05, 2021
A
Yes it has standard 1/2 " spacing and even comes with screws.

will the audio-technica At-VM95C work on an old Harmon/Kardon T25 turntable?
jay  Jan 09, 2021

A
It fit into turntables with a half-inch mount or onto turntables designed to work with head-shells. We have advisors that you can reach by calling 1-800-324-9695 to discuss your Harmon/Kardon T25 turntable and check compatibility
jason  Jan 25, 2021 (Staff)
A
If it mounts to the head-shell with two small machine bolts it should work out, good price for a dual moving magnet cartridge, works great for my Dual 1241 turntable!

Q
Can this stylus be used for 78 rpm?
carl  Dec 16, 2020
2 answers
A
You will need a different stylus but it is available.
furman  Mar 05, 2021
A
It will play but you should use the stylus that is for 78 rpm for best results. The stylus for 78 rpm is considerably larger.
