RetroSound 270-670 Installation Package

This installation package lets you finish off your RetroSound 1.5-DIN (3” tall) receiver with the brackets and wiring harnesses that are compatible with your classic Dodge, Plymouth, Eagle, or Chrysler vehicle. The brackets work with the new receiver's chassis, so you can secure the radio in your dash cavity. The included wiring harness plugs directly into the RetroSound radio's wiring connector, so you can integrate your vehicle's factory wiring. Warranty: 90 days.

Can this be used to assist in the installation of a DOUBLE-DIN stereo in a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport in which the dashboard has already been converted (replaced) to accommodate a double-din stereo?

I don't think this will work for you. However, there are numerous vendors who sell replacement center panels for your dash. But bear in mind, to see the whole face of the unit you have to modify it also. Despite claims, this is not a direct replacement.
