I needed about three more feet to mount the radio. This is 3 times that so I had to bundle it up and out of site. It does the job though.
Pros: Is exactly as described

Overpriced and Terribly Designed

I needed to relocate the core module about a foot away from the faceplate. This thing is NINE FEET LONG! It's ENORMOUS! It takes up a ton of space. It's terminated at each end, so it's not easy to shorten. Because all the wire go into the same sheath, there's no way to tell which connector goes to which port on the head unit. There's a 50% chance of getting it wrong the first time. Installing this requiresooening up the casings at the control knobs. Each casing has 4x Philips #0 screws, and they strip super easily. Unless the connector isinserted exactly right, there's a chance some of the controls won't work. The connector for the knobs is TINY and very difficult to insert. I can think of countless ways this harness could've been designed better. It's overpriced, unnecessarily enormous, and adds a lot of complications to installation of the head unit. I wish I'd just made my own. For anyone wondering, a couple of simple RJ10 extensions would work fine for the knobs, and a couple dozen small crimp terminals and some 22ga 6-wire cable would allow to make a good connection to the faceplate itself.
Pros: Allows mounting the control module up to NINE FEET from the faceplate!
Cons: Sucks at relocating the control module anything less than 9 feet from the faceplate, costs way too much, designed very poorly, installing it could damage the components being modified

Worked great on my MGB. Let me locate the main unit in a more convenient place behind the dash
Pros: Worked as advertised
Cons: I didn't need the extra length. I wish they made shorter version

Retro sound gear.

This was most handy as the retro radio would not fit in Fairlane. This should be listed right with radio. Now radio can go in trunk and face pale in dash. Retro sound quite good but all metric fasteners could use a few extra for the hard to fit antique cars. To get it in trunk ya need to make additional harness for power etc. it can work out.
Pros: VERY versatile; good support; excellent add ons
Cons: Could use higher output.
