Works well and looks like stock

1988 Chevrolet S10
It worked out perfectly and was exactly what I was after. It looks like it belongs in a 1988 vehicle. Putting it together was a little daunting, but it went together as it should.
Pros: Sound quality is good and no distracting colors when it's on. Traditional knobs and the illumination can be dimmed so it's no distracting at night.
Cons: No Bluetooth on this model and no usb jack. There is an input jack with a very short wire.

Perfect for third gen Firebirds.
Paul from Leominster, MA on 8/22/2023
So glad the Newport is back for my third gen Firebird. It looks like a mid 80s design. No chrome. Sounds great. Yes, the Bluetooth connects very fast. I replaced the lighter with USB port cable. I also bought the Metra adapter cable. No hacking factory harnesses. Fit the stock opening. You must repurpose the Delco radio mounting brackets. Color code back in 86 wasn't exactly the same as today. Programmed the backlight to matcs the Pontiac dashboard lights. Sounds so good.
Pros: Fits third gen Firebird. Features, sound and design are excellent.
Cons: Price. Mounting instructions were not for my 86 Firebird. Glad the Internet suggested using the factory mounting brackets. Rear support bracket is not very good. Color code is not one to one. I worked through all of this in one night, but better instructions are needed.

Radio sounds pretty good, but is way overpriced and no install hardware for my Dodge Ram, they should put the Aux jack on the front of unit, and you have to assemble the radio.
Pros: The radio fits the Dodge opening.
Cons: Over priced, the Aux cable too short needs to be on front of Radio.
