RetroSound R-TB8

For this price you don't get much, and these prove that!!! 65 watts rms, from a alpine head unit to a pioneer amp. And they sound ok. Not worth telling a friend about.

Impressed. Just what a 88 Pathfinder restoration needed to enhance upgraded factory speakers. Good job Retro.
Pros: Surprising bass and full range sound
Cons: Tweeter guard cover would be nice

Just what my 1990 Chevy Silverado needed. They fit behind the seat in place of that car jack holder and have good sound paired with the Kicker 4 channel 8 gauge amplifier.

I have a 1987 Toyota 4wd manual extended cab (fully decked out) pickup which has been in the family since new. The high-end OEM radio never was that great and did not have muck power to drive the OEM speakers. I swapped out the OEM radio and all of the 4 speakers to higher quality replacements by Crutchfield. Still not much base so I added amps for the 4 speakers but still lacking base. I recall the rear speakers are only 5 1/4 inch. I then added a second amp and ordered these RetroSound speakers. Huge improvement in overall sound. clarity and big improvement in bass. I could overdrive the speakers with the amps installed but it is frankly too loud for comfort if I tried. I cranked it up much loader than I would normally listen and no distortion. The order arrived a few days early and was packaged very well with no damage to box by carrier. I am really happy with my purchase and can't wait until spring to take the truck out of winter storage. Thanks to Crutchfield for another great purchase.

These speakers are the perfect match up with my Audio Control amplifier. This entire system will be set up in our camp, not a vehicle. You must add the Infinity mini sub woofer to round out the system. Phenomenal audio.

I installed a pair in the rear of my 1967 Barracuda that I did not want to cut any speaker holes in. Nice looking and excellent sound quality.

Very easy to install and sounds great. Have two in my regular cab truck and it sounds incredible. Only issue I had is the speaker terminals say they are push button but they're really screw on and off.

Perfect for my 1950 Chevy Truck
Crutchfield customer from Shreveport, LA on 11/9/2020
These speakers are a quick & easy install. I have them in my 1950 Chevy 3100 behind the seat. We had previously relocated the gas tank so this speaker fit perfect. The sound is also good.
Pros: Easy install Perfect fit Fair price
Cons: None yet
