Absolutely amazing

Superior to any mid range speaker I've heard! Period. Absolutely most detailed, natural and smoothest I've heard! I've had several but these will get loud without fatigue and not sacrifice any detail. These will reveal the weakness in your other components if you don't match them up with something on the same level. They will stand out. After getting these installed I had to take the leap to full Utopia M from Utopia WXP
Pros: Everything
Cons: Price? They're worth the money if you can afford them

Prior reviewer stated exactly my thoughts: it is as though the singer is sitting in front of me in car. I was completely happy with my system, (Morel Piccolo, Focal Utopia W-XP woofer, JL 10w7 sub, Pioneer Dex P99-RS HU) until I heard these in demo. I was absolutely amazed. Now that they are installed, my system has arrived at better than I could have imagined.

Very revealing speakers

True high end midrange sound, smooth and never harsh. I placed them in the doors of my new Mercedes C class and in the center channel spot. My car did not come with Burmester sound system which is a good thing because it does not reflect the true Burmester sound like the one you experience in the E class. The Utopia M beryllium went into the sail panels. The sound is absolutely marvelous but be mindful to dial down the tweeters as they can sound harsh if not carefully set up and properly tuned. While focal makes nice amplifiers, to get the best out of these speakers I would recommend a class A amplifier. Given what these speakers are capable of, class D amplifiers will not do any justice to them. These are true high-end speakers for commensurate equipment and applications and deserve the best. As somebody once said "your system is only as good as the weakest link in the chain." Bravo
Pros: Superlative sound Easy to fit in tight spots Bulletproof build quality
Cons: Price

This unit is for 3 way front sound. You need to custom a place for them (except some car models) We havnt words to explain the difference good speakers vs this.... you can hear the singer inside your car... just in front of you. You can hear details of music. Important: Use active... never with crossovers. and use DSP to choose those frecuencies that you enjoy .
Pros: Mid Range exceptional
Cons: Mount a special spot ??? nahhh not a cons... if you buy this, is because you enjoy audio more than nothing in your car.

The speaker has excellent build quality and sound! Just not worth putting into a vehicle that only has a single front center channel on the front dash. For over $500, I was also expecting it to be bolt-on. You do have to use an adhesive, I used silicone, to secure this speaker. Don't get me wrong, it sounds fantastic and I love my other Focal products, but I was trying to make a unified soundstage, by using both Focal tweeters and center speaker, and this is just too expensive for a car speaker. If it were $200 less, it would be a no brainer, but the 3.5 JBL is probably better bang for the buck.
Pros: Great build and sound Works beautifully with Focal tweeters
Cons: Way too expensive, doesn't mount perfectly.
