These speakers sound amazing! Using as rear surround. Replaced old Niles speakers and it is like I never had rear speakers before.

No longer a good value

At the current price, these Focal speakers are no longer a good value. PSB and even MartinLogan speakers should be looked at before these.

Fantastic speaker

Where to start! I couldn't install left and right surround speakers (to move from 5.1 to 7.1) due to space constraints, and quite honestly to my wife not being fond of having so many speakers in our living room. I was looking for a solution and came across these speakers. Focal is well known for the outstanding quality of their product so, since I was afraid of the sound quality of in-wall speakers, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the 300 IW 6 instead of cheaper comparable products. I am really glad I did. The sound is crystal clear, the mediums perfectly crisp, I am now enjoying 7.1 movies the way they were meant to be. I was so impressed I ran them as main left/right channel for a bit, they sound pretty much the same as my SVS ultra bookshelves (they won't sound like full spectrum speakers though, for the main left/right channels I would turn to the IWLCR 6 instead). It's truly impressive. Most importantly, my wife loves the design, so now I'm thinking about changing my rear speakers for another pair of IW 6 as well. Thanks Focal, way to go.
