Service from Crutchfield was above and beyond, shout out to Manny. The speakers arrived extremely well packaged and the assembly was easy. The sound is amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality sound.

Impressive sound!

When I decided to treat myself to a GOOD set of speakers, I initially looked at Bowers & Wilkens. But when I called to talk to an advisor, Marty listened to what I told him I liked and suggested these. I had never actually heard of Focal but after reading some reviews and trying Crutchfield's unique (and very cool) speaker comparison tool on their website, it seemed Marty was right. The B&W speakers would not have satisfied my needs. While I've only had a chance to listen to them casually (I'm still setting up my music room after moving house), I'm very impressed with the Focal speakers. The detail, presence and clean reproduction is impressive, even while just listening as I'm unpacking records and CD's. I had a Tommy Emmanuel solo recording playing the other day and I actually stopped what I was doing to enjoy the fact that it seemed as though he was in the room with me. I'm sure once I've had a chance to break these in and really do some critical listening, I'm only going to be more impressed. I listen to all genres and so far, it seems like these units will give me accurate sound regardless of whether I'm playing funk, country, rock or jazz! (It doesn't hurt that the speakers are beautiful to look at (I chose the black finish) but they are heavy so make sure you have someone help you get them into position!)

I haven't heard them yet. I peaked in the box though. Wow, they are beautiful! Five stars! Can't wait to hear them.
