Not a direct fit
Robert from Goodrich, MI on 6/23/2024

These speakers are sold as "fits" a 2015 BMW M235i, which they do but with some alteration of the doors needed to clear the wires, which they don't tell you about. Also, the speakers can be plugged in in two directions but they don't bother telling you this, either. So, nice sounding speakers that lack instructions and are not a direct fit.
Pros: nice sounding
Cons: No instructions Need to modify the door for wire clearance Can be plugged in two ways and no instructions to tell you which side gets plugged in which direction

Nice!
Greg from Chapel Hill, NC on 5/3/2023
The sound from these speakers is stunning, the proverbial game-changer over the stock units. There's a surprising amount of bass. Installation on my 2010 BMW 128i was easy (once we got the right size, 100L as opposed to 100). The Crutchfield instructions and tech support were great. Focal's instructions and YouTube page were worthless.
Pros: Great sound Good price Easy installation
Cons: Useless Focal instructions and YouTube channel

BMW DIY SPEAKER REPLACEMENT
CR from Ledyard, CT on 10/9/2021
2010 BMW 3 Series
These are truly plug n play speakers. Installation was super easy once you get the door panel off. A very nice upgrade compared to the E90 328i xDrive stock speakers. Build quality is great. One tip that may help the DIYer; the complete door panel removal is not necessary if you're careful. The separation width achieved through un-clipping the panel from the door clips behind the panel after unscrewing 3 T20 screws from driver side door,4 from passenger side door. You will need a thin plastic shim or other tool to carefully pry off the trim molding hiding the screws behind. Start from the door hinge side first. The entry side of the trim piece has an interior plastic flange/hooked lip that gets released last, with a side slide bolt maneuver before complete removal. Once that is off you'll have access to the screws. You don't need to even remove the screws from the holes as long as they have been completely unscrewed. Now you are ready to unclip the panel. Panel unclipped, lower the window and work from the outside of the car. By not totally closing the door and working from the outside, through the window, the car's interior is used to prop up the weight of the door panel. No need to disconnect anything except the lock button will fall out of the hole and swing down and out of the way. A small socket wrench set is all that's needed to get the nuts off. I replaced the nuts by hand tightening only using the socket without the wrench to not accidentally over tighten. 2010 328
Pros: Relatively easy replacement if you have basic tools and consider yourself handy. Tools needed: plastic shims, T20 torq bit and driver, small socket wrench.
Cons: Pricey
