Indoor & Outdoor Application: The Focal Littora 1000 ICW10 is an in-wall/in-ceiling speaker that can be used in indoor and outdoor applications. It offers excellent versatility, along with Focal's signature sound. The ICW10 has been rigorously developed to perfectly suit being used in extreme conditions, such as yachting or for outdoor or indoor use at home.

• IP65 Rating (ASTMB117): The Littora 1000 ICW10 has an IP65 (ASTMB117) certification and is also UV resistance (ASTMG53). IP, or Ingress Protection, is a standard from the International Electrotechnical Commission relating to a product's degree of water resistance and protection against the ingress of solids and dust. An IP65 Rating specifically means the speaker has the highest level of dust protection, and is able to withstand low-pressure water jets from all directions (however, the speaker should never be submerged in water). The ICW10 has an operating temperature of -13°F to 194°F.
• Crossover & Tweeter Controls: The Focal Littora 1000 ICW10 benefits from two optimized crossovers for indoor and outdoor installation; a buton on the back of the speaker allows you to set the crossover network accordingly. The tweeter also has 3 level settings (-3 / 0 / +3dB) to best suit each environment, indoors or outdoors. The tweeter switch is located on the front of the baffle, behind the speaker grille.

2-Way Driver Design: The Focal Littora 1000 ICW10 utilizes a 2-way driver design that features a 1" M-Shaped Beryllium Tweeter and a 10" Fiber IP cone woofer for dynamic, full-range sound both indoors and outdoors.

• 1" M-Shaped Beryllium Tweeter: The 1" M-Shaped Beryllium tweeter uses Focal's exclusive inverse dome technology, which enables optimum transfer of energy and limited directionality. The dome's beryllium material guarantees exceptional performance in terms of lightness, damping and rigidity, to provide a silky, detailed and precise treble.
• 10" Fiber IP Cone Woofer: The 10" cone woofer is made using Fiber IP sandwich technology. Fiber IP is a non-woven, glass fiber cone. The sandwich layers increase damping and make the ICW10 in-wall/in-ceiling speaker very versatile. The co-moulded Santoprène surround of the speaker driver ensures reliability in harsh environments and long-term stability, while pre-assembled EVA joint at the rear of the speaker driver provides a silicone-free fitting and a perfect seal.

Weather-Sealed Speaker Terminals: A DT06-2S sealed connector on the Focal Littora 1000 ICW10 provides a reliable, fast and secure connection. The speaker features a male DT06-2S sealed connector and comes with a female DT06-2S connector speaker adapter that will connect your speaker wire securely an safely.

No Rust Aluminum Grille: The ICW10 in-wall/in-ceiling indoor or outdoor loudspeaker comes with an aluminum grille that won't rust. The grille snaps on to the front baffle of the speaker. The aluminum grille comes in a white finish, but can be painted to match the color of your ceiling or wall. The grille will protrude 0.4375" from the wall or ceiling.

Mounting Options: The Focal Littora 1000 ICW10 can be installed in the wall or in a ceiling for indoor or outdoor applications. The speaker will require a round circular cutout that measures 10.9375" (diameter) x 4.8125" (deep). It is secured to the wall or ceiling using its multi-point mounting system that eliminates vibrations and fall risks. The mounting clamps can accommodate 0.25" to 1.25" walls and ceilings. Make sure to leave at least 0.75" of space around the back side of the cutout opening to accommodate the mounting clamps. It is also possible to install the speaker in a Focal angled support bracket (sold separately), allowing you to angle the speaker driver by 30 degrees.
