I don't really consider myself an audiophile, I just don't have the ears to be that discerning. I do, however, work in the audio industry, so I have at least a little knowledge. I wanted a 'good' set of LCR speakers to go in my HT system, mainly to enhance Music and Movies, with some TV also. I'm scarcely through the burn in period, and so far the Thevas are great - dialog is properly centered, and the detail that comes through L&R just blows away what I had before. Set up and calibration (with Audessey) was easy, and they both look and sound fantastic. I haven't really run them on full power yet, but it feels like they're more than good enough for my midsized media room. I was hoping to get a solid entry point to decent quality speakers, and so far I'm satisfied that this is exactly what I got. Build quality seems high and audio quality seems high. The price point is interesting - high enough not to be a casual purchase, but still achievable to most folks who really want quality. Feels like they'll last for decades. So far I've gotten exactly what I wanted!
Pros: Awesome dialog and centered audio
Cons: They're quite big; make sure your cabinet has room to fit them.
