If you're looking for a rugged, reliable way for your staff to stay in touch with you (and with one another) throughout the day, Midland's BR180X6BGC Biz Talk bundle will get the job done. With six 2-way radios, this package is ideal for schools, small businesses, hospitality, or retail.

Each one of these lightweight, compact BR180 handhelds has four channels, 99 channel options, and 142 privacy code possibilities that can be accessed using the programming cable or the menu button. There's also channel scan, hands-free mode, NOAA weather alerts, and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display.

Each radio is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that'll provide up to 14 hours of talk time. The bundle includes a charger that'll have all six powered up and ready to go for the next day's work. Rapid charging capability can have the units up and running in 4 hours.

Note: To configure your BR180's software, you'll need an optional Midland BA1 programming cable (sold separately).

Business Communication: The Midland BizTalk BR180 business radio can provide reliable push-button communication for your business, with customizable 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-channel operation, 142 privacy codes, NOAA weather alerts, and 1 watt of transmitting power. The BR180 is ideal for small businesses, construction sites, restaurants, warehouses, landscaping, hospitality service, and more.

Range: The BR180 can provide the following communication ranges under ideal conditions:

Inside steel-concrete buildings: up to 200,000 sq. ft.
Inside multi-level buildings: up to 15 floors.

Customizable Channels/142 Privacy Codes: The Midland BizTalk BR180 can increase the ease of operation by letting you customize the BR180 to only use the number of channels you need and hide un-needed channels. The radio will only recognize a channel with an assigned Frequency Code, defaulting to the 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-channels that are programmed with a Frequency Code. The radio has 142 Privacy Codes that can be used on any channel. Each channel can have a different Privacy Code, but must be set the same on all radios you wish to communicate with. The BR180 can easily be configured using the BizTalk Business Radio Software found here (PC only, Mac not supported). This lets you configure the Channel Frequency, Privacy Codes, Squelch Level, Keypad Beeps, Mic Gain, Backlighting, and more.

Note: Configuring the BR180 software requires an optional BA1 Programming Cable (sold separately).

Scan/Monitor: The Scan/Monitor button lets you quickly scan through all available channels, stopping briefly on an occupied channel so you can hear the conversation. Pressing the Talk button lets you join the conversation.

Call & Vibrate Alert: The BR180 can send a Call Tone to briefly vibrate another radio to alert them you are about to transmit. The Call Alert feature must be activated on both radios and a Vibrate icon will be displayed.

Keypad Lock: The Midland 2-way radio keypad can easily be locked/unlocked, preventing accidental changes to the channel or menu settings.

NOAA Weather Alert: The BR180 is equipped with Listen to Weather and Weather Alert features that provide information direclty from the National Weather Service (NWS) for important weather events or civil emergencies.

Built-in Mic/Speaker + External Jacks: The Midland BR180 is equipped with a built-in microphone & speaker. The two-way radio also features a 2.5mm microphone jack and 3.5mm speaker jack to connect the included mic & ear-wrap headset, freeing your hands for other tasks.

Rechargeable Battery Pack: The two-way radio is powered by an included 1750mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery pack for up to 14 hours of use. A desktop 6-dock charging station is included that can charge each battery while installed on the radio. Charging can take up to 5 hours, depending on battery level.

Belt-Clip: Each Midland BR180 radio includes a spring-loaded belt-clip so you can easily attach/detach the two-way radio to your hip.
