Very happy with this marine stereo system.

I purchased this marine system 6-6-23. I finally on 4-23-24 decided exactly where I could install the system on my center console boat without interfering with my other electronics. It was hard to make myself drill holes in the boat, but I'm glad I did. For reference, if you have access to a 5-1/2" hole saw for speakers & 3" hole saw for the head unit/ these work perfect, but always remember to tape off entire area to be drilled & start your holes in "Reverse" until you get through the gel coat to prevent cracking the gel coat! The stereo sounds "Great" & it has all the hookups for about anything you could possibly want & some that you may not use like myself, but they are all very well protected from the elements. The X-Bass in the system is great, the user friendly equalizer & other built in options make for a very high end, clear sound. If you are considering a system for any boat, I would definitely recommend this. As always dealing with a great company like Crutchfield you can't go wrong. Excellent product, fast shipping, great price, & customer service. In my opinion, there is no other place to buy any stereo products from. Thanks

Cost Extra Time to Install

Nuts for the 4 screws that hold the unit in the dash did not match each other. The nuts were 4mm and the screws turned out to be something special (3.5mm? sealed in the same package). The local well stocked hardware store had nothing that would work with these stainless screws. I ended up substituting 6-32 x1" stainless screws and nuts for the ones that were included. Cost me a 10 mile trip and 1-1/4hours to add to this install job + parts. Lack of such a small attention to detail will make me think twice about ordering this brand again.

Did not work

Besides the fact that two products had to be sent out to me because the first one was lost before shipping but after the label was created, once the boat mechanic had installed this product, the radio did not even work! I cannot decide how frustrated and disappointed I am with this product and company. After the first shipment never arrived, a second order was sent as I stressed the need for on time shipping as the boat was at the boat yard each day collecting a fee. A new order was sent out and I promptly delivered it to the mechanic for install. He got the whole device installed, went to fire it up and it didn't not work. He ordered a new radio for me and installed that instead. Will never be buying from Crutchfield again! Will gladly tell friends and family to be careful ordering anything from Crutchfield. Beyond disappointed.

So far a good option for an after market product. The only complaint that I had this far is the nuts for the receiver bolts were not the right size and I spent more time driving to buy hardware then installation.

This unit fits perfectly in the original dash on the 2021 Yamaha Drive Quietech golf cart. Only modification is a 3" hole in the bottom of the square portion in the dash for the radio, no other trimming was necessary. About a 30 minute job. The people at Crutchfield are great and very helpful in selecting exactly what you are trying to achieve. Shipping was fast, and here in 3 days. Thanks to the Great people at Crutchfield!

great upgrade for older boat

in need of an upgrade of a 20 yr old head unit this was a reasonable alternative that worked out quite well, I dropped it in a cupholder hole and made connections to the amps, checked all the speaker wires and replaced two older speakers with the ones that came with this , and the boat sounds better then ever
