JVC's CS-DR601C 6-1/2" component speaker system makes the upgrade less of a strain on your wallet. Built to weather the extreme temperatures of life in your car doors, these slim-profile speakers offer strong performance with good power handling.
Solid boost in sound quality
JVC uses a lightweight yet durable carbon mica woofer cone for smooth, consistent mids and lows, plus a separate 1" polymer film balanced dome tweeter that'll increase your music's clarity. Even when powered by your factory radio, your music will sound much better. Grilles are included.

Features
Tweeters: The tweeters are PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) balanced-domes; PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide soundstage for superior imaging. A semi-dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone. Balanced dome tweeters are semi-dome tweeters with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome portions of the tweeter.
Tweeter Mounting Options: The tweeters can be surface mounted without adding anything to their fixed housings. Brackets are also included to allow flush mounting or angled surface mounting (approximately 30°).

Crossovers: The 2-way crossovers have input and output wires attached. Neither has any wire terminals attached, so crimp-on terminals can be added (item number 120FQS10PK, sold separately) to provide terminals for the woofer. The crossover dimensions are:
- Length: 3" (4-3/8" including wire)
- Width: 1-3/4"
- Height: 7/8"
Woofer Mounting: The woofer baskets have multiple mounting holes and are designed to fit standard 3-hole 6½ applications, Ford's 4-hole 6½ applications, and symmetrical 4-hole 6½ applications. The outer ears also mount in a standard 4-hole 6¾ application, but the inner holes are left open to "leak" air as the cone moves. (When mounting in a 6¾ application, a speaker baffle should be used to seal the inner ring of screw holes.)

I installed these in both doors of my 1997 Chevy Blazer. They cound awesome with the deck power from my new JVC. I plan on adding my amp when I get time. They sound crystal clear and punchy mid bass.
