This is my first set of hearing aids, and I am extremely pleased with them. Their quality and effectiveness have really helped my moderate hearing loss. The setup via the Tuned app was very intuitive and the process of customizing to my hearing profile was great. One additional aspect that has been somewhat transformative, is using these hearing aids with a pair of overhear headphones. I just realized how much hi-end I was missing, Highly recommend this product

Too many compromises

Appears to be the same HA device (same manufacturer - 'Intricon', & same physical design/specs) as the Lexie Lumen (which is much cheaper at the time of this review & has a telecoil & 2 additional sound settings that these do not have). Only difference is the mobile app, which in my opinion is more marketing hype than an actual feature. The hearing test to "tune" the devices consisted of several subjective questions & only 4 actual hearing tones transmitted to each ear - very minimal compared to other hearing test apps. Sound was decent (although I do not have a reference as I am a new HA user), when it worked. One of the devices would not stay paired with the app & kept disconnecting (I have an iphone 14 Pro Max with an updated OS and the most current version of the app).Troubleshooting & contact with manufacture support was unable to resolve the issue. Other dislikes: Unlike other HA devices in this price range - no rechargeable battery and no Bluetooth streaming capability (unclear in description). They do not seem durable & are unlikely to last any longer than the 1 year warranty. They require daily maintenance (not in the description) where you have to remove/clean the tubes and tips. They recommend you replace parts every 3 months, but replacement parts are not sold anywhere. The only way to turn them off is to physically remove the battery, which again does not seem like it will be durable to do this every single day. I recommend you try something different.
