I was pretty happy with my Polk MagniFi Max but this is above and beyond. The overall sound seems so much more immersive and the sub provides much more bass.

A Solid Purchase ...

This was given as a gift to a Family member. This 2.1 system was purchased for a smaller room footprint, ease of use, and quality reproduction of sound for general TV/Movie use. Paired this unit with a Sanus soundbar mount, and installed under the TV as space is at a premium for this application/installation. Overall connection and use was simplified by using the HDMI-ARC connection to the TV, so as being able to use the TV remote to control volumes. Note that while Google Chrome, and Google Home was available during set-up neither were used in this application. You can bypass the installation of that/those apps by not using the link, or QR code and just powering the system on using the remote or power on button on the soundbar. There was no benefit for Us to using either of the Google apps to provide access/use to most of the features via voice command. It was just easier to set the soundbar up, and access the features just by using the Polk remote control. Generally, once You set-up the features or use the available presets for the sound profile that You like or works for You Your done unless You are an audiophile or tech driven individual/family. Other bummer is no Owner's manual, or set-up information. While set-up is intuitive, does it really cost that much to provide a hard copy to have on hand for reference ? It's a mixed bag, but Polk isn't the only company who doesn't provide these documentsor literature to the consumer. Solid product, would purchas

Pros: - Quality audio system for general TV use, movies, music, and podcasts. - Competes with Sonos for sound quality, but at a more affordable price point. - HDMI-ARC connection makes set-up/installation easy. - Additional connections for use if HDMI-ARC aren't available. - Remote control provides intuitive access to sound controls, and preset profiles for use with general TV, movies, music, and podcasts.

Cons: - Soundbar, and SubWoofer size is a little larger than comparable products from competitors. - Bass maybe lacking in some audio applications, but overall great audio. - No Owner's manual, and/or set-up literature.

Loads of features and great bang for thr buck

Lee from Lakewood, CO on 11/9/2022

Bass is strong and pretty tight. It's a little hollow in the midrange. Setup and connection to Alexa is incredibly easy. Full manual is only available online. Great bang for the buck overall. Plenty of power for all your viewing and music needs. If you wall mount you will need a kit as the bar's wall mounting design requires anchors of some type. I did not like the wall mounting option using only the bar.

Pros: Tons of features. Plenty of power. Super easy setup.

Cons: Midrange is a little hollow. Overhead effects difficult to discern. No paper manual.
