Packaged very well, arrive on time, Crutchfield did a great job of keeping me informed and everything went as planned. Speaker is great, exceptional quality, range of sound is outstanding with very clear voices. I had a 30+ old Polk center channel that I replaced (still was working good) it was part #5. What a great up grade better bass, clearity and sound quality.
Pros: Sound quality, bass and high tones are exceptional
Cons: none

Polk Audio Reserve R300
Thomas from Indianapolis, IN on 7/23/2023
This replaced a Polk CS245i unit which was quite good. The R300 is not night and day better than the 245i but improved enough to justify the purchase. Male voices are deeper and highs are crisp and accurate with the R300. The R300's sealed cabinet works better on my shelf as the 245i had a rear port which caused unwanted reverberations. Would have liked the R400s, but they wouldn't fit into my cabinet. This is used with Polk R200s on a 95W/channel Denon receiver. Might need a little more power than the 245i, but that's not an issue. I also like the looks of the R300. Very happy with my purchase. As always, the ordering process with Crutchfield was flawless.

Build system with Onkyo TX-NR696 receiver ,Polk R300 center, Polk R500 front, R100 rear channel. Wow! Building a media room around the system. Everything sounds clean and crisp, from Mozart to Tool. Couldn't be happier with the system and the service from Crutchfield.

Great Sound and very well built.
Glen from COVINGTON, GA on 1/27/2023
This Speaker is solidly built and sounds very clear and concise. Vocals are very natural and it was a big improvement over my older Polk center. However, the 300 is a bit too small for my space and the rest of my system and unfortunately, the 400 is too large for where I need to put my center. I would highly recommend this speaker for most small to medium rooms but I will have to return it.

Nice!
Bill D from Yadkinville, NC on 10/31/2022
I replaced my Boston Acoustics VR-10 with the R300 and have absolutely no regrets. The definition on vocals is exactly what I've been looking for. Instead of reaching for the remote and turning up the volume to hear dialogue, I now leave it on the end table. Nice!
Pros: Perfect size that fits most any entertainment cabinet without sacrificing sound quality
Cons: None

Polk Audio Reserve R300
Drew from Bloomington, IL on 6/26/2022
Great sound but wants a little power. I also have the R700's for fronts and they are incredible, but I have a power amp on them. The R300 has great clarity but not quite as in your face as I had hoped.

Excellent match with R200s
Greg from Wixom, MI on 6/7/2022
Huge upgrade from my CS1. Final puzzle piece in my R200, 10" sub system. Very nice timbre match and plenty of bass and crystal clear highs. Expensive but worth it. Wish i had these years ago. Now need to figure out where to fit the towers without moving!
Pros: Perfect timbre match. Sound quality is fantastic.
Cons: Price, space-I wouldnt call it small like Polk does

Excellent purchase.
Tommy from Hoover, AL on 1/24/2022
Wonderful addition to a fine audio system. I have two B and W C4 speakers and a Marantz receiver and subwoofer I purchased from Crutchfield. Crutchfield's customer service is the absolute best in a world where so much customer service is everything but!
Pros: Everything.
Cons: None

Polk Audio Reserve R300
Crutchfield customer from Summerville, SC on 1/1/2022
Maybe it's me but I can't really tell a huge difference out of center channel speakers. This one isn't terribly sensitive and needs power to sound great and boost volume to appropriate levels. Make sure you have a receiver or amp with GOOD power. We traded a Def Tech ProCenter 2000 for this mostly for the looks. But, we got cleaner sounds and better mid/high frequency response. Centers don't need to be bass heavy, the ProCenter 2000 kept trying to do too much. With a 7.1 system it wasn't needed. No real complaints.
Pros: Build quality Clean sound Perfect match to my TV stand
Cons: See review

Sounds great!
Darryl from ODESSA, FL on 9/25/2021
Great smaller sized center channel. Sealed enclosure is solidly built and the sound is full and very detailed. The dialog is clear and a big improvement of our previous CS10 center channel. I was initially worried about the 4 Ohm rating though I haven't had any problems and it sounds great on Denon AVRx4500h.
Pros: Sounds great! Very detailed. Dialog is very clear. Compact size. Sealed enclosure fit very well in tight space.

I bought as a replacement for a old Sony center channel speaker. Installed and re calibrated the Marantz receiver and the dialogue is now much better. I would highly recommend this speaker.
